Just got an email from Overton's. My 3 Water big fish 105 kayak has been shipped and will arrive in 2-3 days via drop shipment.

I just got an email from Overtons, backordered until 5/29. At least it wasn't cancelled.

I also have not yet received a shipping confirmation on the big fish 105.

You really can't beat this kayak for the price. The 105 was my second choice to the nucanoe frontier 12. But shipped for $520, unreal. I pulled the trigger. I could buy 3 105s at this price point instead of a frontier 12. Now I have a little play money to customize and spend on a good paddle. One thing I noticed during the checkout was that they have two varieties of the 105 on the site. The charcoal one does not qualify for discounts and there is a $125 freight fee. The green one rung up free shipping and discount eligible. $520 is not bad to try out yaking, I figure I'll sell it if I find out I don't like it. Now let's see if they actually ship it and don't cancel my order.

I picked up a limited blue PQ2 and compared it to the regular version side-by-side. The blue version felt significantly lighter in the hand, and overall felt more plastic than the normal version which feels sturdy and like a solid piece of aluminum. Makes me wonder if the color is the only difference.
