I understand a point is a body of mass that comes out into the main lake and of course it has either ledges/flats going towards deep water with grass. now what is a water point which doesn’t come from a body of mass sticking out into the main lake?

I am new at bass fishing. I hear so many terminology Of “weedline”, but I want to get this straight. Can anyone explain from land all the way to the deepest part of the main lake. I hear weedline, inside weedline, outside weedline, outside edge, inside edge, etc. I sometimes hear outside weedlines in terms of the main edge of the lake where the grass stop growing, but then hear outside weed edge as the term of what I just said as an example. I want to wrap things correctly around my head. thank you.

What’s an all around heavy rod for flipping, pitching, heavy cover punching, heavy cover in general, frog etc im considering a Daiwa SVF AGS XHeavy frog rod 7’4” thoughts? Reviews? Other consideration on a great rod even save good money or am I in the right ball park for that rod? I’m not a extreme fanatic fisherman where I need different rod for different setup. As long as I can cut and retie, I am fine.

I read a lot of reviews. Seems like 893c and 894c are the two most chosen rod to go when it comes to versatile. Jigs, cranks, spinner, squares, t rigs, CR, swim, etc 1/4-3/8= 893c JWR 1/2-3/4 = 894c JWR

Why those over the CRR (power3) and MBR(power2)

Hello, looking to purchase. Any NRX expert who owns all or used all can give me what’s the better choice. im looking at a medium rod between 802c JWR/852c JWR and 842c MBR looking at medium-heavy rod 873C CRR or 853c JWR which is more versatile? Better use

Would you by chance know why example the 8xxs JWR and 8xxc jwr has an S and a C at the end of numbers? What are those?

Man I’ve searched but can never find a table for all the model numbers and other letter labels that comes with it. Example my 822 SYR... no clue what that means but I just know it’s my mag medium. Anyone have a site or reference I can look at to understand? thank you
