  9. Here's what happened I had to DQ two teams from a tournament for fishing after the pre fishing off limits. Thy fished another tournament the day before on the same lake. The rules state the cut off day and time witch thy signed before the tournament just to make it clear I did not have this info until midway through the day and it was proven from the other tournaments results posted on the web. I have no doubt that these teams should have been DQed my question is should thy be entitled to a refund ? when answering keep in mind that these teams are not new to fishing tournaments but have been around for a long time and should have known better. and to make matters worse one of the teams put his 17lbs of small mouth back in his live well and kept them. what do you guys think?

  13. all freshwaters of the state regardless of access
  14. Here it is. 1.16 ll organized fishing activities, i.e. tournaments, must be permitted through RIDEM on all freshwaters of the state regardless of access. A minimum of 6 persons is considered an organized fishing activity requiring a permit. If access is municipal or a private ramp, an additional permit may be required from the municipality or private entity. Municipal regulations will supersede those of the state. It shall be the responsibility of the fishing organization to obtain said additional permit. No more than one permitted, organized fishing activity may be held on a freshwater body during the same time period. This does not supersede any special boat ramp or state management area state regulations, except as described below. Organized fishing activities, i.e. tournaments as described above, will be held only during the hours 8 PM through 12 Noon the next day. It will be the sole responsibility of each permitted organized fishing group to e-mail the registrations of participating vessels to RIDEM 72 hours before the activity.
