I got out of the Army in 2008 and just joined the XXXXXXXXX program so I will be fishing those tournaments when they come near me. I will also be fishing a xxxxxxx xxxxxx charity series to raise money for the XXXXX XXXXX and some FLW-BFL co-angler events. My partner already fishes the FLW and also has a guide service so I am learning alot from him. I could display your logo on my truck, wear shirts/hats, and display your company on my tournament jersey. As of late I have been getting bombarded with sponsorship requests and I look at all of them. When I see one like this I will not even consider it! Some of you may not see any thing wrong with this request until you understand that I do not sell rods and have nothing to do with the companies in this email. My advice for this gentleman would be. Take the time to address the company that you are targeting for sponsorship and don't just copy and paste your request to another email.

As some one who is in the custom jerseys business. When a jerseys is ordered from us. We assume you have permission to use the logos you requested. If we were marketing jerseys to sell Like a Bass Cat jersey or Gloomis jersey then we could not.

Most states that have a no culling rule make an exception for pemitted tournaments. "The Key word is permit" Again I say most states. I do not know about all states.

Thanks for the advice. I already striped the rod and will start over. Like I said I was in a rush to get it done and skiped some steps. I did use it for a 2500 shimano. i just could not understand why it was so tip heavy. Thanks again

here's mine 9 1/2 caught on a flipping tube.

I built this rod back in July in some what of a rush. I needed it for a tournament and had two days to finish it. Here's were I need some help the rod is extremely tip heavy. I have moved the real seat up the blank twice already and can not move it anymore The rod is 7'med with 9 fuji titanium guides. I have built more than a few rods and never had this problem.. What can I do short of weighting the but? I am ready to strip it and do it over. Thanks for any help

As you probably remember from the get together the color is black with black super chunk but make sure you have a rattle on for wallum..no rattle no fish! fish them in 8 to 16 FOW let it get to the bottom and work the rattle....I use a 3/8 spider jig but I don't think the make and model will matter....good luck and catch em up
