Merry xmas To you to. Still not much of a victory to me. I see none at all. if your in a winner take all tournament and you come in second what did you win? Nothing. Sorry just cabin fever getting to me.

bassnajr, That was not a victory. that was settleing for less. Classic? NO Elite? Yes. Reenbersment of moneys lost? NO. Less Jr spots at the world championships? YES. Travel expences? NO. More cost to the state federations and JR clubs? YES. Less cost to BASS/ESPN? YES. Were is the victory? I don't see it.

If you like to watch fishing on TV I'll give that to bass/ESPN but there other than bassmasters thy never last long. If your a federation angler then you have constantly have had things removed from your programs. An increase in dues and loss in services. I don't get it; Blue & gold? Yes, I am a Notre Dame fan if that's what you're getting at. I imagine you're bitter at BASS for something, like a lot of others. But I've never heard a legitimate reason. Maybe you can enlighten me. There is not one thing FLW does better than BASS; except lie to the TBF. FLW is much better at that. I don't know what you think flw is lying to tbf about? But at least say what you really mean unless you really don't know what you are talking about. What do you think BASS will remove next? Federation Classic spots? The JR's have gotten the rug pulled out from under them thy still are not going to the classic thy still lost all the money thy put out and all future travel expenses have ben taken away. There will no longer be inviting two JR from each from each state now thy will only be inviting 12 JR's to the nationals the Classic is out. so I say again if you like to watch fishing on TV then BASS is the best for you but who knows how long that is going to last soon all there will be is the Elites and the classic without the federation anglers competing in it? so when you compare. Compare the elites to the flw series but not Zona and the others because thy won't be there long. Remember the classic will always be the holy grail? But the FLW CUP may be the only place that will still have fed guys going.

Yea, .....nice touch,....REBOOK YOUR TICKETS AGAIN!!!!! Honestly, I would tell this organization to pound sand by now. Why is it ok to have changed it in the 1st place? If it were me, I would get a lawyer. Honestly,...I paid "X" amount of money to compete for a prize. A chance to fish with the pros at the classic. You took my money and then changed the prize at the end of the season. Does this not ring FRAUD with anyone else??? If not, I'm running a lottery,lol. Give me $5 for a chance at 200k. Warning: I work for BASS, the prize could change later, maybe a pack of hooks or something.You may think I'm way off base but I know the RI jrs had to change all their tickets. THAT cost them more money. NOW, they don'r need tickets at all because it's within driving distance. 2k wasted because you changed the prize in a competition I PAID to be in. So now bass is going to have the JWC at an elite series tournament we'll at least thy get to fish with a pro. still not the classic kind of like putting a band aid on a bullet wound. just like thy did two years ago with the adults. there just trying to make themselves look a little better.

It appears that this one may effect the Junior BASSMASTER's. Anyone else heard anything on this? Also, anyone notice the advertising sales positions on the masthead in the most recent (Dec '08) BASSMASTER? They don't have any sales people anymore. What the heck is going on? It's the end of November. How are you going to sell advertising for 2008 if you don't have sales people calling on accounts? This may be a serious sign that the end is near.

Two years ago there was a lot of acquisitions the fed had no vote on what happened with our programs I guess thy were wright. Most thought it was a thing over $5 yet some others said If we let this go who knows what thy (BASS) will do next. We'll thy(BASS) got there $5 and continue to take things from the BFN for it. More money less programs. 1) dues increase $15 to $20 2) Weekend series went to ABA 3)JR's not fishing at the classic What's next BFN's Classic spots? Who Knows ? Till this year I kept my membership in BFN/BASS, TBF/FLW And ABA. I for one will not renew in BFN/BASS.
