Bass Boat with seating for 4
Hello Folks, After years of fishing around all of New England in a 12' Coleman Crawdad and finally going to buy a legit, gas powered Bass Boat. I would like a boat that seats 4. I was looking at the Lund Pro 1875 V XS bass which would give me the flexibility to bass fish shallows as well as tackle the larger lakes here in New England for musky, etc and has 2 jump seats behind the two main seats. I have a wife and 2 daughters that mostly just like to cruise around and passively fish. Myself, I am a hardcore fisherman so trying to find a decent boat that will suit both my needs...fishing and family. I do not want a boat with a windshield. Are there any other options I am missing? Trying not to break the bank either, if thats even possible these days. Thanks for any help and advice you can give me. -Fireman

Hi Folks, My Brother and I will be making a trip to Vermont this fall to fish for SMB. Was wondering if anyone could share some info. on the a few good ponds to target SMs. We will be fishing from a small 12 ft Crawdad with 55# thrust Minn Kota so prefer smaller, out of the way ponds if there are any. I appreactiate any help and info. anyone is willing to give us. We were looking in the Northeast Kingdon area but open to fishing any part of the State that provides good/excellent Bronze Back fishing. TIA. -Fireman

Hinckleys Pond or Seymour Pond in Harwich?
Hi Folks, I am looking to venture outside my normal Smallmouth waters here in Plymouth and heard Hinckleys and Seymour Ponds are really good places to fish. Does anyone have information on access to Hinckleys? Details are hard to come by as far as where I can put in my Coleman Crawdad. All the info that is available is something about a dirt road on the west side of pond. Maybe someone can help me out? I know Seymour Pond, just to the North of Hinckleys, also is said to have decent Smallies. Any one have a recommendation over or the other? Thanks for any help you can give. -Fireman

Smallmouth Fisheries in MA?
Can someone help me with access to Hinckleys Pond? I have a Coleman Crawdad and would like to try somewhere new for Smallies. MA Fish and Wildlife Website didnt have much detail about access for car-top boar access, just that it was on the west side on a "dirt-road". Im from Plymouth so kinda familiar with Harwich. Any help if greatly appreciated!

Reel size
Hello Everyone, I was wondering if someone may be bale to help me out. I am looking to buy a rod and reel combo that will be sufficient for both Smallmouths and Northern Pike. I am planning a Smallie trip to Vermont but on of the other species that is caught as a "by-product" of smallie fishing is Northern Pike. We will not be targeting Pike but was warned you do catch them. Do you think a 2500 series reel with a 20lb drag will be good enough? Paired with a Ugly Stik Elite 6'6" Med/Heavy road will be sufficient? I own mostly Daiwa reels so was interested in the Fuego LT 2500. Or maybe someone has other suggestions. I mostly rip spinners and top-water devil horses so I like a faster retrieve. Thanks for any help you may be able to give me! -Fireman
