Yes it can get in the way of fishing I as well dont like it, it makes my hands all itchy but you washing your hands in the water and drying them in a rag is great its just part of fishing.

So recently I have caught my 8lb PB on a Football Jig with a Fluke on it and when ever I say that people say its weird and shouldn't have worked and as far as i can tell the action in the water looks great Ive caught multiple on it. I just want to know what wrong with it?

Im Trying to buy a Max Pro Abu Garcia Bait-caster as my first one but I don't know what side I should get the reel on I have done right my whole life but people say to go lefty because of "advantages" For example they say that right should be your directing hand and i agree with that but to not switch I don't feel that it gives a great advantage but i have never tried it.
