Best travel rod...???
I am an avid backpacker and previously frequently used a two piece casting rod for backcountry/ travel Bass fishing, but it's not compact enough and I snagged and broke it while hiking in on the last trip. I am now looking at either the Megabass Triza 3 piece in MH vs. the Shimano Scorpion 5 piece in MH which are both much more compact and higher end. Anybody have any experience/ feedback with either or both...? Pro's vs. Cons of either.? Weight, sensitivity...?? Any insight or recommendations of these or any other models besides these two would be greatly appreciated

Best Senko Rod...????
Thanks so much everyone for all of your input. I'll try to get my hands on some of these rods in the stores and feel them out a little more.

Best Senko Rod...????
I have long wanted to pull the trigger on a top tier Senko SPINNING rod, as Senko fishing is my go-to primary method of choice. I currently own several Shimano Expride and NRX casting models. I am conflicted between either the Shimano Poison Adrena 6'11" medium Heavy spinning or the NRX 6'8" medium Heavy 803s as likely being the best Senko SPINNING rod options on the market. My primary criteria is that I REALLY want the rod with the stiffest tip and backbone for solid hooksets in deep water AND potentially heavy cover. Any advice or recommendations from someone with experience with these specific models would be greatly appreciated. I have handled both in the store, but it's not the same as actually using it and landing fish. Thanks

Help, need to find or replace rod tip of 2 piece Shimano Expride
I broke the tip portion of my very best/favorite 2 piece casting rod ( Shimano Expride 172H-2) The base/handle portion is fine, but the tip is shattered into multiple pieces. Anyone have advice for how to just get the tip section from Shimano elsewhere or am I going to have to pay for a complete new rod...??? Any help, advice or direction would be greatly appreciated

G Loomis Recommendations please
Thanks to everyone for all the input and advice. I pulled the trigger on a used NRX 893c from eBay and scored it for $388,. I figured that was a solid deal and can't wait to start landing some bucket mouths with it

G Loomis Recommendations please
Much appreciated help from all the replies so far. I think that all the consensus on the answers lines up with my interests of going with the NRX 893C. My only fear is that I'll want to buy more rods in different lengths and actions to replace my entire existing line...

G Loomis Recommendations please
I need experienced recommendations on what G. Loomis model to buy. I own quite a few rods throughout a wide spectrum of lengths, powers and actions, none of which are G. Loomis brand. I fish all types of lures and presentations for Bass, but my go-to is an unweighted Texas rigged Senko. My best current rods are Shimano CruciaIs, which I love. I am finally ready to drop some money on a G. loomis to be my #1 best primary day to day rod. I am not sure which one is the best for me. I know that I want something approximately 7'6" in a medium-heavy with an extra fast action for good hook sets on plastics. I don't know which grade of G. Loomis will be the best value for my money. The E6x seem like a good rod, but nothing extraordinary to me. I am willing to drop money on a GLX or better if numerous folks with experience can say what they think will be the most worth it. I want the most sensitivity and light weight for my money. Thanks for any advice and recommendations
