    Does anyone know any thing about these rods? In Particular the Shurman 50 G for throwing topwater baits. Never heard of them until yesterday when I came across their website.

    I Have been throwing senkos on a set up similar to the one you sold. I am using the Avid X 6'8" MXF with a stratic CI4 3000. Great set up

    Not sure about the 735 but I bought a Extreme 744 last year for throwing football jigs and it is a great rod for that. Caught a 4-4 with it throwing 1/2 oz. jig. It shows its rated for 1/4-1/oz. but if one wanted to go with one oz. jigs I would consider the 745 or another
