# line for new setup
Good Afternoon, I am going to be purchasing a Megabass Destroyer FMJ, and i'm having a tough time deciding what line i should use with it. I have narrowed it down to Abrasx And Sniper. I am still having trouble deciding what pound line i should get, i have been considering 16 or 18 sniper and 17lb abrasx. I will be fishing moderate cover with this setup: brush piles, rocks, and grass. 3/8 and 1/2 oz jigs and texas rigs will be used with this rod. I have eliminated 20lb line because i really don't like casting a zip-tie Lol. What do you guys think i should go with?

High End Bottom Contact Rod
Hello! So my buddy is looking for a high end jig and worm rod. He has been looking at megabass mainly (the destroyer series and orochi). We fish in light to moderate cover and he uses 3/8 oz jigs and worms mainly and here and there a 1/2oz. What model would you guys recommend from the orochi and the destroyer series?

reaction vs bottom contact rods
i have 2 of the 7foot medium moderate for cranks topwater and jerkbait , 7'1 heavy fast for spinnerbaits and chatterbaits , 7'1 mhxf, and the 7'4 frog rod. Dobyns daiwa megabass kistler... no St.croix 13 duckett they don't make good rods

reaction vs bottom contact rods
I've been hearing nothing but amazing things about the expride so it's up there in my choices and the ags don’t hate me but the silver is just mehhh. I will probably end up doing that thanks for the response Yeah i don't think i'll end up upgrading those rods they're plenty good. i'll take a look at the helium 3 though, have seen many people recommend those on other topics. thanks for the reply Yeah that's the main reason i thought about it again. I can put the money towards other stuff i need. Thanks for the response! I will check it out this weekend!

reaction vs bottom contact rods
So i have 4 normal tatula rods for reaction baits and a tatula elite for bottom contact. I'm looking to get a new bottom contact rod around the $300ish price range. do you guys think it is necessary to upgrade from the normal tatula for the moving baits. i think it's pretty sensitive for them. (i saved money to upgrade my whole setup but now i'm rethinking)

New rod
i'm having trouble with my dobyns fury and i'm looking to replace it. It was my jig and worm rod. The main problem is that it's a little to weak. i got the 703c that might be the problem... Looking for rods at around a $100-130 i can go over that budget though. Have been looking at the St. Croix mojo bass mainly. anyone have experience with it? is it sensitive for bottom contact baits and what power would you recommend for 3/16oz- 1/4 oz t rigs and 3/8 jigs. Also any other rods you would recommend??
