As the topic says, are the Zillions that much better than the Tatula SV TWs?
These days, it seems you can snag the Tatulas for around $165 and the Zillion for $260.
So roughly a $100 price difference. But is the Zillion worth the extra $100? And at the $260 price, would it be better to opt for a Shimano Chronarch MGL?
Thanks
I only have experience with Seaguar Invizx @ 15#.
I think it's a really solid and good choice for an all around fluorocarbon line. I have one reel spun up with it and another reel with 30# Seaguar Smackdown braid with a #15 Invizx fluoro leader. I haven't had any issues with it. But like I said, it's the only one on your list that I have personally tried and used. The other lines I have no experience with, so can't really speak to them.
I have two Shimano SLX reels and they're the best bang for the buck $100. Incredibly good reels for $100. I personally think the Shimano SLX is a $200-$300 reel killer. It's just as good as any $200-$300 reel IMO. As such, why spend $200-$300 when you can get the SLX for $100?
