  1. The shaky head setup I find most sucess with is the ball head jig, with a Yum 4 inch finese worm, colors vary depending on the time of the year and conditions of course. Shaky head style will catch you alot of fish or has for me anyway.
  2. Congrats, to Boyd Duckett. Whether it was his home lake or not simple fact is he is a world champion and your 2007 Bassmaster Classic Champion.
  3. The Duke, Although I respect your opinion that all it is, your opinion. I expressed mine. I dont have a problem with spectator boats I just noticed in this case they were extremely close to Howell. Howell waved Swindle through thats why I seen no need for the DQ. However if Howell would have said no dont come through hear then I could see reason for the DQ. That just my opinion on the matter.
  4. Avid, you are right fishing in 40 mph winds is crazy but so am I. I cant just go home in the middle of a tournament. The 07 season getting off to a slow start for me but dedication and determination will eventually lead to the top.
  5. I fished in a bass tournament this past weekend , we had 40 mph winds, couldnt get anything going, didnt even get a bite. Just got into fishing tournaments normally I probably wouldnt have fished however I realize if Im gonna fish tournaments this probably not gonna be the last time Im faced with this situation where there are high winds. Any tips or suggestions for bassin in high wind situations?
  6. Swindle and Ike DQd, I can kinda understand Ike being DQd , thought it was a load of crap that they DQd Swindle wasnt a big deal. Spectators shoulda got out of his way. If a fellow anglers says he doesnt have a problem with him coming thru I dont see the prob. Spectators need to stay out of the way and let them fish. Any sponsor who would drop either of these superstar anglers is the one who is at a loss.
