I just sold my Javelin like 2 weeks ago, ran that boat for a little over 2 years. It was a great boat was just wanting something bigger. You will enjoy it!

My new ride I picked up yesterday! 2007 Ranger Z20 with a Yamaha V Max 225 HPDI, hydraulic jack plate, power pole, Minn Kota 101, Hummingbird 997 at the console and Hummingbird 788 at the bow. It was a one owner boat and is super clean. Can't wait to spend my weekend in it!

Ok this is kind of embarrassing but I just bought a 2007 Ranger Z20 and this trailer is different than any I've used before. How do I release it from the ball of the truck?

Biggest thing I'm throwing is 8" and 3 1/2 ounces. Everything else is smaller soft plastic swimbaits.

Hey guys what rod do you recommend for soft plastic swim bait and hard body swim baits? Same rod for both or what do you use?

The Livingston bait you're referring to contains technology that no other lure on the market does with their electronic baitfish sound. The new multitouch which is the one that is around $17 can be used with either the original baitfish sound, a shad sound, a crawfish sound or can be silent. Does that make it worth $10 more? I say yes. I just picked up a few of the multitouch but haven't used them yet. I have quite a few of the original dive masters with the EBS technology which are around $12. They're worth it for sure I catch more fish and better quality fish since I started using them.

How do you guys store your soft plastics in your boats? I've been using worm binders but it just seems there has to be a better way. I'm in the process of buying another boat so I figure now is a good time to come up with a better system. What do you guys do?

Ok guys I ended up getting 13mpg with the boat in tow and 15mpg without it. Loving the new wheels btw and thanks for all the input again.

Well guys I sold my small truck and Monday I purchased a 2003 GMC Sierra Z71 extended cab w/5.3L I have a 3 day weekend coming up so we'll see how she does on the fuel mileage with a boat in tow. I really appreciate all the feedback.

Well I'm a step closer guys I sold my small truck last week and Monday I purchased a 2003 GMC Sierra Z71 extended cab 5.3. I now have my boat on the market so when it sells I'll be making a decision on which boat to buy. I'm gonna get at least a Z7 maybe bigger.

I may not be posting this in the right section but I'm currently looking for a tow vehicle. Currently I have a small truck and boat but wanting to buy a bigger boat so gotta buy a bigger truck. What do you guys tow your boat with and what kind of mpg are you getting out of it everyday driving and more importantly when towing your boats. Thanks.

So after to talking to a lot of people including you guys, doing some research and going down and looking at some new Nitros I think I'm gonna go with a bigger boat. I'm going to go ahead and sell my truck and buy a full size truck now so I'm able to tow a bigger boat. Then later this year I'll buy either a Z7 or Z8.

Oh! Ha ha I've wanted to buy a new one for a long time finally in a place financially where I can.

I've owned quite a few used boats in my life and with every one of them I've inherited someone else's problems and the warranty and financing options are a plus as well. Last year my boat was in the shop 4 months out of the year and for what I paid in repairs I could have been paying a note on a new one. I'd like a bigger boat like you guys mentioned but I drive a 2005 GMC Canyon (smaller truck) I really can't pull it.

Giving some pretty strong consideration to buying a new 2015 Nitro Z6 with a Mercury Optimax Pro XS 115. So for those of you who are Nitro or Mercury owners what are your thoughts on pros and cons of these boats and motors?

What color lens do you guys use? And do you use more than one? I've heard people talk about using different lens for cloudy or sunny conditions. Also for clear or stained water. Thoughts?

I have been fortunate enough to pick up a few quality sponsors this year. The accomplishments are great but the ability to sell and promote the product are much more important. These are businesses who are out to make money and you need to show them you can help them make more of it. While the accomplishments as a tournament angler are great this is what is most important.

What line setup do you guys suggest for flipping? Do you use a leader? If so what knot do you use to tie to main line? I haven't done much flipping in the past but have really gotten into it the last 6 months or so and have been using just straight 65 lb braid. What do you guys reccomend?
