red hooks
Hey Guys I don't believe in red hooks or bleeding bait, As far as I can see is it;s another attempt to sell the fisherman something. I have seen on back to back pages in a fishing mag where you need to buy rapala bleeding baits and on the back side of the page where you need to buy red fire line because it becomes invisible to the fish. So if the fish can't see the red fireline how can they see the red hooks to believe that the lure is hurt. Maybe they can't see the hooks so that in return triggers a hit. Keep on buying what ever you feel convident in becuse the buying of fishing tackle is an addiction. Hello My name is Murray and I have a problem.

baitcaster and braided line
All I run on all my rods is 30lb power pro and on my flippin stick I use 50ilb. Some reels have line holder holes in them . what I do is put a small piece of black tape on the spool first before I spool it up. Another trick for power pro I waste 1 spool every 2 years , by throwing one spool away then back spooling all my other reels to the next leaving having to buy 1 reel of line every year not 12. suggestions for "walk the dog" baits....
Zara spook White / green frog pattern during the day and black at night. Try fishing a spook at night over 20ft shoal for smallies, you relly have to feel the bite cause when you set the hook and miss. and the trebles come sailing by your head at 100 mile an hour you wish you were inthe water Murray
