  1. i fish out of a boat and off the bank. i fish off the bank at a local pond just to do some fishing when i can't take the 1 hour trip to the lake
  2. i always take them off. mostly to prevent a good jig from rusting
  3. x2 its sucks but i'm sure its not the worst
  4. for braid i fish jigs, worms, and stuff like wackyjig and shakyhead little things like that..but i never fish moving baits like cranks or spinnerbaits on braid....
  5. welcome to the best forum on the internet
  6. i agree with mngeorge but i wouldn't use braid..in this case i would use mono, mostle cause it will let ur bait run higher then braid or floro will
  7. i agree with dumbdog....espeicaly that u don't need 2 get discouraged if u don't go out and catch them ur first few times out
  8. i like the strikeking pro model alot..the rattles r the best i've seen on a jig. also i personaly like how the jighead sits in the water
  9. I like tackle warehouse cause they have everything!!!!but im not sure of the brand name but i went 2 basspro and got some of these with the weight rite in the bend..soo u might want 2 also look in2 that

  12. that doesn't look 1/2 bad.....actually it looks pretty good
  13. well lately i've been fishin a pond near my house alot and rat-l-traps have been working well but try some norman crankbaits..good luck fishin...oo and one thing i learned when i first started is to not expect to catch one everytime cause fish come with experience
  14. i agree with sam
  15. imo i really don't think that a red hood maters over a regular color one..but i use both and haven't had a noticable difference between the 2....o yeaa welcome to the site
  16. senko all the way...one of the most versital baits
  17. well i would get some new line.i have that same crappie line and its alrite but i don''t think i'd use it for bass..and rapalas are really good crankbaits but a little bit expensive for a newbie imo.. but theres all kinds of good crankbaits out there..i've found that normans are by far the best for the price..and for worms i would suggest berkley and gary yamamoto baits..but the gary yamamoto baits are expensive compared to other brands and they tear up after a few fish they still produce fish...
  18. i have a pack but only used them a couple times with no bits..i probably just don't know how to use them rite
