So whats the advantage of Bone over just a solid white gloss color? Bone is a little more yellowish matte white inst it?

Gonna try wacky rig tomorrow
Ive Neko rigged a total of once, but never wacky rigged. It sounds like my ned rig setup would work for wacky too. 6'6 ML spinning with 10lb braid to a fluoro leader.

Live bait hooks
Im really considering trying this next time I fish a certain pond because I know there are a few 5lbers in it and I'm pretty good at catching dinky gills with my ultralight and fly rod. Ive got a bobber setup for cats with a 5/0 circle hook I'm going to try. Also one on the bottom.

Live bait hooks
That's what flatheads go for. Green sunfish are amazing bait for them because they are so lively and active. But if there are no flatties where you're fishing then you dont have to worry!

Live bait hooks
I bet you will catch some catfish waiting for a bass to bite. But would you fish it under a float or a carolina type rig?

what unpopular lure do you use?
My step dad swears by the Pop-R and has spares is his favorite colors still in the package in case he loses them. Are they really that much better?!?!?!

Need help frog fishing.
I recently bought a 7'2 H/F and 60lb braid for frogging and still had the same issue of missing so many hooksets, then came to the conclusion, the Booyah Toad Runner sucks for hookup ratio on smaller fish. I went to a Popping Pad Crasher and bam, nailed them. That big boot tail or the way the body is really made the hookup ratio garbage.

I dont see much about the Hula Popper anywhere, except that it got a new paint job. Never hear of anyone fishing it. I have 2 and they are the only hard poppers I have.

favorite summer time spinnerbait
I use the Wahoo brand from Academy in various colors and blades and for chocolate milk or night time I have a Lunkerhunt Thump in black and blue with double Colorados. Found what I believe to be a KVD spinnerbait and haven't had any better luck on it than the $2-$3 Wahoo spinners.

Another sunglasses lens color question
When I was in the Army I had a pair of Wiley X glasses with interchangeable lenses. It had a pair of orange lenses and when i tried them I was really suprised. On a cloudy day i could see more clearly, but all the shades and brightness was even. Nothing too bright or too dark. I wish I still had them.

In what application(s), would you need a reel with 8.1:1 gear ratio?
I have a 8.2 I just got that I use for frogging and jigging. I like it alot. Even when I burn it back in, its not insanely blazing fast. I feel like it's still manageable if i wanted to throw a spinnerbait or crankbait, I just feel slower. But wont try it because it's on a 7'2 H with 60lb braid!

Summertime lipless..
I like them if there are schooling baitfish I can see, then I throw it all around and through the school. Works great on sandbass too.

Anyone ever seen for sale a Buff with a beard cut-out?
I always wear jeans when I fish. The only time I'll wear shorts is when I'm fishing on a boat. Then I'll sunscreen my legs because I'm white and pale on my legs and burn in no time at all!!! Haha. But yeah if I get a hoodie or some long sleeves and actually wear my big fishing hat it should keep all the sun off me. My only complaint about my hat, its a 360 degree floppy bill Columbia hat, is that it's kind of hot and not as well ventilated as I wanted. Sometimes i wear my old dirt bike jerseys to keep the sun off and this is the hat I have.

Never Neko rigged. Any advice?
Yeah I agree on weight. As long as it sinks the bait at the rate you want, who cares if irs technically 2/16th or whatever.

Never Neko rigged. Any advice?
Does brass make a difference? I was going to just some varying sized screws. Was supposed to go to Lowes today but forgot and glad I did because I would have forgotten screws for stick baits!!

Wife thinks I'm crazy, let's see your Tackle "Reserves"
I need to lay it all out sometime. My tackle bag holds 3 boxes and I have 5. Plus a few MTB that I just use the box for storage and extras like line, cranks I dont use, plastics I'm not in the mood to throw.

Where can you buy them at? I need to do something, I'm tired of getting burned and never wear sunscreen.

Boot Tail Swimbait Differences?
I still have yet to buy anything Keitech. Fished with a buddy a few weeks ago that had them and I was amazed at how soft they were. I think the Rage Swimmers are about the best middle ground, with the Power Swimmers being more firm, but they still have good action.

Never Neko rigged. Any advice?
I run about a 6 foot leader for the same reasons. Ive only retied more leader once this year and it was 2 weeks ago so should last me rest of the year. I'm not paying for VMC prices so I planned on going to the hardware store for screws too!

I need to start wearing a long sleeve sun shirt and covering myself. Even with sun block the UV rays still put a beating on you.

Boot Tail Swimbait Differences?
I use the Powerbait Power Swimmers on a swim jig and so far have caught 10 fish with the current one. Its still in good shape and has good action too.

The heck is that? For steering sheep?? Im right there with you. My beard kept my chin and front neck fine but my ears, nose, and back of neck got roasted last time out. I always felt wearing a face and neck cover would be hotter, but I remember when i was deployed to Iraq we wore them and it helped with keeping the direct UV rays off the skin.

Never Neko rigged. Any advice?
Yeah I could see that. It sounds like my ned rig combo would work well for it, but I have a hard time taking off the Ned!
-
Never Neko rigged. Any advice?
Ive done that technique with the Ned so I bet it would work great with a bigger more floppy worm. Awesome, thanks Glenn!

Weedless Ned Rig
I live in the Tulsa area. Mainly ponds and one small lake I fish are choked with weeds and grass. The main lakes are fine, but pond hopping is a different story. I thought 1/10 was pretty light but I guess it wont hurt to pick up a pack of 1/16th.
