  1. Private ponds owned by single landowners I could see, but golf course what's the big deal. As long as you there at night and you don't trash it or destroy greens then there's no problem.
  2. There is a good topic on that in the tackle section right now. Here is the link: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1178483705
  3. Ok. I was having the same problem with hook up ratios a few weeks ago. A couple points: 1. First of all alot of times the fish doesn't always eat the toad. Sometimes they just smack it or just grab the legs. Only set the hook if you feel weight. You always have the chance of another strike if the you don't swing on a missed strike. 2. Braided line helps alot. It doesn't stretch at all and gives you a good solid hookset. I use twenty lb test but alot of other folks would reccomend higher. 3. I use 4/0 gammy EWG hooks and they work great. Personally I feel like a 5/0 is a little large even thought that's what zoom makes. Just make sure your slack is gone before you set the hook.
  4. Dux where do you go to school in Nashville and where do you fish? I'm over at Brentwood Academy.
  5. I have a pond near my house almost exactly like that. I would say it is about four feet deep in the middle. That spyrogyra is everywhere. I fished everyday for about two weeks and then I didn't fish it for 4-5 days and the amount of spyrogyra has doubled. I have heard of copper sulfate being used. Sounds like a good idea. Anyway I have had alot of success with Horny Toads and wacky rigged wave worms. It is alot easier to keep the spyrogyra off the Horny Toads FYI. Will
  6. Can you get it through xm?
