Shimano Poison Adrena
Yes, I have them both… and they both have their strengths. The Adrena line is definitely a bit more sensitive than the Expride B that said…The Expride B’s are definitely faster in the tip The 7”4 Heavy Adrena is perfect for 6” Magdrafts and Also a killer 1 oz - 1.5 Oz punching rod Now the 7”2 Adrena in my opinion is my favorite Rod probably of all time it fishes more like a medium heavy + It’s ridiculously sensitive and is about as versatile as it gets I’m gonna strongly disagree here… Now don’t get me wrong the zodiac is a great stick… it definitely fishes a bit faster than the poison Adrena in terms of sensitivity… i’d put the expride B ahead of the zodias And the Adrena is a step up from the Expride B And I’m the majority I’m sure of it

Shimano Poison Adrena
I have the 7”4 Adrena as well … it’s the perfect 6” Magdraft rod Great 3/4 & 1 oz Spinnerbait Rod If your a braid to leader guy it doubles as really good Jig Rod too Its an Adrena so it’s super Lightweight and balances perfectly with a Bantam on it. Without question it’s the lightest 7”4 rod I’ve ever fished. Plenty of power but extremely parabolic

Shimano Poison Adrena
The champ xtreme yes … It’s not close the Adrena The Adrena is 2 or 3 steps ahead Weight , balance and most importantly sensitivity
-
Shimano Poison Adrena
They are more sensitive than all of these rods listed… Expride B bring a close second

Shimano Poison Adrena
Appreciate the input and feedback… This confirms why I have to say the prev gen Adrena 7”2 Hvy is legendary…. so versatile so sensitive Cant say enough good things about the prev gen 7”2 H Adrena

Shimano Poison Adrena
From what I’ve felt with one rod and am hearing the New Current Gen Shimano Poison Adrenas are a bit faster than the previous generation. Similar to the Current Gen Expride B’s to the Expride previous Gen Expride A’s … That said … does anyone have a 7”2 Heavy Adrena New Gen and Previous Gen they can speak in comparison?

Shimano Metanium MGL 16 Paint Chips!?
I understand that the fish could care less... But it still drives me nuts ! LOL I agree 100% on the black reels. I’ve got a couple of Curado K’s and I’m telling ya ..Those d**n Reels are like Tanks ! My son has a K too that I bought him...let’s just say he’s not as nice to his gear as me. I picked it up last week to throw a chatterbait he had on it and the d**n thing is still mint. He shorefishes with it too ! He has no reel cover on it ... Thing still looks great! Something to be said for a black reel .. LOL?

GLoomis GLX 844C MBR & 854C JWR
Thanks for insight. I agree with you... picking up the MBR’s feel like a bit more balanced and sensitive version of a Falcon. The handles are more comfortable as well. Thanks

Shorter rod to skip chatterbaits
The old Falcon Cara 6”6 all around med heavy .... is perfection. The 6”10 head turner is a spinnerbait/chatterbait casting rod ... not as good . Plus the 6”10 is a heavy action.

Appreciate the insight thank you Lots of guys switching to parabolic actions for Jigs specifically. Bass have a difficult time throwing the hook using a rod with that MBR action.

Shimano Metanium MGL 16 Paint Chips!?
Hello There has to be some Shimano Metanium owners that know what I’m what I’m talking about when I say these are super smooth and sensitive reels. Easy to replace the aluminum gears and they tune up insane ! Some guys even like the 16 precious models better than the 20. However ... the paint has always chipped like crazy on these Silver reels !!!? Any ideas on how to touch them up matching the color to make them look good without making a mess ????

Appreciate your input guys ...! I feel great about my decision. Need a little more help. because your very familiar with the rods I have to ask what reels and weight reels seem to balance out the best with them ? I understand that reels have allot to do with personal preference but I also do think that certain weight and types reels do a better job with different brand rods. Whats your thoughts on reels for them ?
