Need some opinions. Will the water finally rising put some fish in the bushes? Just got here for a week of fishing......San Patricio area. Any help appreciated!

I'll be in San Patricio. Not sure about how the runoff affects that area. I was there last year during the March full moon and done very well. Water was about where it is now........dingy.....but lots warmer. Seen a report that water in the north this past weekend was around 50°. As memory serves water was 67 or so last year. Don't look like much of a warm up between now and then.......but anything can happen with that. Weather man is hardly ever right.

I'll be there that week......glad lake is up.....but now concerned about the cold water. If your experience will they be up in the bushes even if the water is a little to cool?

I've checked around quite extensively and can't come up with one of the Tommy Martin chips. Anyone have a lead on one?

It's a complete binder with waypoints.....what each waypoint is......and how to fish it.......and what to throw. They are very pricey ($300).....but a buddy of mine knows a pro who let him copy it. I've been marking my maps and putting waypoints in electronics. Just wasn't sure if anyone else has used it.

Has anyone used this resource before? Any input?

Anyone still throw Arbogast Mud Bugs ?

Joe, I hope you'll help me a little here. I hear alot about following the creeks and ditches....but I've purchased some of the best maps......and have good map cards......and they do show the major creeks. However they rarely show the secondary or minor creeks......and never show the ditches. So how do you find then? Just lots of time with electronics?

Last March I made my first trip to the Bend in over 20 years. To say I had a awesome trip would be an understatement. Caught fish from the time I got there till the time I left. I'm excited to tell y'all I'm headed back March 8-15 (week of full moon). I'm be fishing San Patricio area mostly again cause that where my cabin is. Also will make the run to 1215. I'm praying for rain to put the water up in the bushes.....and pleasant weather. If y'all see a black and red BassCat up in that area......stop and say hello. Wish me luck!!!
