  1. For all you who are interested in buying from across the pond now is a very good time as U S Dollar has risen in value. For reference I just posted some new stuff in the "Show Off You Stuff" the Pop Max's cost 15.12 each as the Stella was 585. Just thought I would share this with you guys....
  2. There are two rods I would recommend that are in the wheelhouse of your question that you should at least try provided that they are in the requirements of the lure weights you throw...... SMR 702C-TW 5' 10" A 1 10 - 17 1/4 - 3/4 Fast Med-Heavy $250.00 and the SBR 752 C 6' 3" A 1 10 - 17 3/8 - 1/2 Ex-Fast Medium $230.00 Both are smaller than most that would be normally recommended for their use but do not let that fool you. They will cast well beyond your expectations and with plenty of backbone as they will lock up to tame the larger ones you hook into. As for the price well that is list price but I never pay list price as I like to hunt for my investments....
  3. Congratulations as you can see you will not be disappointed, just watch the reel as you turn the handle for the first time. It is Stellar in both operation and feel enjoy.
  4. G, Funny you say that because I did have sweep off a few Spiders from Mars that thought they were still Touring the Galaxy with it....
  5. Domat Black.......

Tom, I agree sweet bait, posted this a couple of weeks ago.... Posted October 16 2014 - 10:01 AM I have only had a chance to throw one for a very limited time. However I will tell you the action is very sweet you get the side to side action from the wings , the sputtering from the prop and the knocking from the ball inside all at once while moving water as well. I would tell you the Pompadour is a Crazy Crawler on steroids and then some, if you like fishing Topwater then go for one....

I have gotten a couple but have not had the time to throw one.....
  13. For whatever the reason I know I am not the only one who gets these little critters with no time to fish them. Although I did get a chance to throw one of the Pompadours for a very short time and was impressed with its action. So lets see the ones you have gotten recently but have not been able to use.....
  14. Please do me a favor and count the teeth on your main gear and your pinion gear . When you have done that please explain to me how you have changed the teeth count on either gear by changing the length of your handle. Your analogy reminds me of the guy who changed his tire size and thought he changed his rear end gear ratio in his car.....
  15. Have the Binsky as well just have not had the time to fish it yet.....
  16. I find buying both very enjoyable, however I find more enjoyment with the reels because I like to play with them........

  19. Not lately....the enjoyment of fishing is two fold, being out on the water and being in the hunt for new products.
  20. Ah yes the almighty Lord Frog....The action looks like a young bird flailing in the water to me, one that may have fallen out of a nest or was trying to fly for the first time.
