i am so sorry about your loss :'(. i know how it feel kinda, i used to fish with my grandfather every day. and one day i screwed up and he disowned me, not sure if its the same feeling but it seems like it to me. angain sorry for your loos and he will be in my prayers.

cast a texas rigged lizard onto the pads and skitter it across the pads untill you gat to a hole, then let it drop. if you dont get one on the drop let it sit for a lil bit and then reel in varying the speed as you go. this always works for me in the pads. dave

i would t6hrow into those eddies or have the crank run right by them, the bass chill in the eddies and wait for food to go buy then dart out grab the food and go back, it saves them energy.

i usually take my front hooks off the cranks, they are always getting stuck on cover :'(

what do you guys use for jig trailers, i use the YUM baby craw trailer in blue/ black flake and move up from there the bigger the jig. i tried the uncle josh's pork frogs but they did not help at all so i went to these.

i used to use the 3 inch all black worms that i poured myself, that were fat and i used them on a small jig. these were the only baits i used for about 2.5 years, i made so many that i literally had my mom yelling at me because i had at least 25 molds and buckets full of them. well then to my suprise they stoped working :'( all together. so i was stuck witha bunch of molds and even more worms, i gave then to my friends, relitives, random people at the pond and i still had a bunch, so i decided just to melt them doen to make different worms. yea thats my story and uhh yea. my favorite inexpensive lure is a hula poper i found while fishing my local pond, it looks like it is hand panted the pattern looks like a bird. ive caught so many fish on this lure i cant count, the best part is that it was free. ;D

i voted for my local shop, its called the tackle box, they sell good stuff and the owner is very knowlegable. sorry if thats considered advertising, i didnt mean to make it sound like that.

you could fit like three os thet bass into that lure, i wounder sometimes what compells them to do the tingd they do. ;D

ima say 4-5.5 lbs. but thats just an estimate its almost impossible to tell when there in the water. nice shot.
