Someone i know using this fishing rig but what is circled he uses a steel leader except for the sinker he threads line back through swivel like dropshot but the sinker is tangling in the car and a lot of times the leader and sinker line tangle so i am wondering what he can do to reduce the tangles without changing anything he uses 20lb power pro

I use orings that are od 3/8” and id of 1/4” and this year started to use two crossed to increase hook ups and they seem to not work as well and cut into the senko so was wondering if anyone knows if using oring size 1/2” od and 3/8 id double crossed would work without cutting in the senko or if they would be too big

I got a new batch of nanofil (after bad batch) and before i put it on not have a problem /question the mono backing is fraying from drag no its not on rod When pulling drag i hear a popping like sound and noticed frayed

Do you have an instant healing thing like a lazurus pit and immunity to pain or just deal with the burns

If you use a split shot with mono or fluorocarbon you can see it kinks the line / creates a weak point so i am looking for a alternative

What can i use in place of a split shot that doesn’t nick line

For the three way swivel rig what lb cortland leader should i get and what lb mono should i get for sinker line

Before i spool up my reel with the new nanofil after getting a replacement i was wondering if i needed to add tension to spool even with line spooler to prevent it from digging into itself This is how i spool This method works and you wont get tangles unless line has kink in which case that is going to cause it to form a loop and tangles but was wondering what you guys thought if that was enough tension to prevent it from digging inti itself or if I should apply additional tension
