  8. Am looking for a cheap tool that can cut hooks and crush hook barbs or another tool that can crush hook barbs
  9. I got a new trion 30 the other day and its spooled up but whenever i pull line from the drag it sounds like its fraying the line I was wondering if anyone knew what caused this as it is happening in one of my other reels 2

It seems like one oring worked better but was missing fish so was seeing if using two led to this problem or was wrong size and which case what size allows me to use two but doesn’t cut in senko also i keep them on oring tool so it kinda stretches them out
  11. Now I know most people have a different size but is there one I should use every one will agree on

Personally ive heard of all the other things people use but the orings seem the softest and while having problems i have also managed to get 7 fish on one senko
  15. I always use 5inch senko and use it starting when the erie canal is filled until its drained which means dreaded trout season starts I just want better hooks of good quality that will also work for live bait and egg sacks ideally cheap and if possible barbless because i removed a hook from a gut hooked bass properly and it still didn’t make it and i feel terrible Ive heard of lots of people saying gamukatsu splitshot/drop shot hooks in size 2 and found 100 for a decent amount

That is the size i got 400 of off amazon for and using 2 seems to cut in the bait and not hold up and have been trying 2 for increased hook up ratio

since i have tool it just seems faster to use orings When im bored i just slide a bunch of them on tool so that when i need to i just slide two of them on senko

I got the wrong size orings and i was wondering if anyone could send me a link to a lifetime supply of the right size orings (3/8”) because I couldn’t find any
  19. Does anyone have a specific hook size and brand for wacky rig without weed guard and texas rig hook that i can get a lifetime supply off
  20. Just curious i got 14 lb test maybe the coating was uneven
  21. Personally never had a problem casts great just test your knots and take your time when tying and cinch them tightly just was wondering if i had a bad spool
  22. Probably weren't cinching your knots 100%
  23. Usually use leaders tackle advisors no tag Alberto knot or using salt strong braid palomar for tying direct works for me their braid uni failed me as has the uni several times people that have palomar fail them dont tie it correctly which is pretty hard to do no offense uni knot guys nanofil is a line that once you get good at knots is the best for casting distance
  24. I just spooled up my new reel with 14lb nanofil and i felt these bumps on the line they weren't nicks or frays so i wondered if it mattered
