  1. Same spool size, gear ratio, can find extra spools for cheap price and will work like new and smooth for a long time What i am looking for I currently use the gx2 reel but am looking for someone that will work
  2. Alright im currently sticking with getting a trion unless anyone knows a better reel with same gear ratio and spool size that will still work as good as new after long term use i usually go fishing once or twice a week with a few several day trips a year

  6. I also noticed the steel leader adds a tiny amount of weight which works for me but as long as you set the hook early you should be fine.
  7. I have been trying the double oring trick this year to increase hook up ratio and it seems the senko fly off or get torn in half or they come off when the fish jump does anyone know why and what i am doing wrong and what I need to do to fix this

  9. Several years too late but use a steel leader i do it kinda falls like its on a jighead and the fish love it

What i do is i spool the reel the exact same way the guy in the video link i posted did then i take off the spool fill up a cup with hot water then put the spool in it Also i have a question about a reel that i have confirmed to get if i got a REVLT2000-C would a spool from the Revlt3000 fit Because i want the gear ratio of the one and the spool size of the other

I got a 1000 yrd spool of seaguar red label 12 lb test for $25 or $30 though I’ve noticed the remaining line on the spool is nicked and frayed and I asked about a replacement spool they said send proof of purchase which i sent a while ago and now i dont get responses any ideas ps sorry if this is off topic its a problem i have though like i said if you have the thing the guy in the video has which i do along with the hot water trick makes it work great
  13. Dodgeguy its worked fine and i have caught numerous big fish as long as you do the hot water trick and spool correctly
  14. I know in the st Lawrence the goby colored senkos will work well for smallmouth but for pike will the goby or perch work better because pike eat perch and there is too many perch in the st Lawrence

  17. Im looking for a spinners reel under $50 that I wont have to worry about fraying or nicking line that will last me forever and holds anywhere from 75-100 yrds of 12 lbs mono
