I heard and am trying out 1/0 octopus hooks Meant to say egg sacks

Im getting some new reels and was wondering how many spare spools I should get

What jigheads should i get that work for all soft plastics what size to plastic lure size what is an alternative for split shots that dont nick line

I know but caught a 12 in perch in the islands on senko and it swallowed it My seasons for target fish are the following after erie canal filled -drained wacky rig for bass pike ect for steelhead and brown trout season pre ice and ice out usually use a salmon egg ice out if trout season is bad and i get mad i go after the perch run april when finger lakes north ends warm up using gulp minnow for smallmouth

I was curious what size oring for senko was big enough to not cut into the senko currently use oring size od 3/8 and id 1/4 it works well with one but want to increase hookup ratio as it seems ive lost more senkos with 2 orings Was thinking about getting size 1/2” od and 3/8” id but do you guys think its too big or what

Was using those then when unhooking catfish I caught on senko saw how it was nearly broken in half so am going to gamukatsu or some other higher quality

What hook and what size works for all fish and baits mainly use wacky worm. But also use night crawlers,salmon eggs ect

I use fluorocarbon main line and was wondering if it weakened from heat eventually even though it s’more durable then mono as some say it does and others say it doesn’t, do you change it when it turns a milky color

A friend a fish with uses a dropshot with eagle claw steel leader and gets tangles is there something he can do to not get tangles without getting rid of the steel leader

Alright so either a 1/0 or 2/0 so far waiting for more people to say either of the 2 or another that is most widely agreed on

For the double cross the id is 1/4 and while they fit senkos sometimes come off and while oring held on better lowered hook up so do you think going to 3/8 id with 1/2 od is too large and if so what size fits without tearing the senko
