Spinnerbaits are almost impossible to get hung up...so if you fish around laydowns and stumps you should be in business. Keep it off the bottom and out of the algea and you should be alright

Just wondering if any of you guys hunt morel mushrooms. I wanted to know if anyone has found any yet. I went out Saturday and found 2 small ones but I fear the weather may be against me this year.

Just curious how anyone did on the opening day of PA's trout season? I know with the weather things may have been tough. I hope to get out next week.

Opening day is next week in PA and after my scouting experience today I AM EXCITED!!!!!!!

I had a pretty cool experience this morning. I am new to turkey hunting and I did some scouting today for next week's opening day. Well I was sitting in my spot and a pair of Tom's and a hen came out of the woods. I started calling to them and I actually got the Tom's pretty worked up. It was the most exciting time I've had in the woods for a long time. I felt like I was watching Primos. I know where I'll be next week for sure

I know how you feel buddy. My dad was never into outdoor sports either and since my grandpa passed I realized that I don't have that chance to make memories with my family. But, I married a woman with a really cool dad and we spend a lot of time in the woods together. It'll get better...and I do agree that you should show this post to your dad. I think that if you tell him how much you look foward to doing things with him it may spurr his interest. If not find an older buddy to pal around with till you get your lisence . Happy trails.

funny you should mention that KY...I read an article somewhere once that said we know more about outer space than we do about our deep oceans...and there aren't even any fish in outer space.
