  1. It's really all personal preference. I used to fish 6'6" all the time but when I went to 7'0" there was no looking back.
  2. Used my lew's tp for the first time today after only fishing spinning gear ever. It felt different but not in a bad way. My question is I wasn't getting much distance on my casts. I had the brake's set at max at first and no backlashes but when I took the brakes off I got a backlash not to bad though. Should I ease off the brakes maybe setting them half way? I was using 14 pd trilene xl and was thinking of dropping to 12 pd. Tension knob was loose enough where the bait was falling slow and drag was just right. What do you guys think thanks.
  3. That looks good to me! How is the Fogy compared to the jackhammer? Which one do you prefer?
  4. These look great I might have to give them a try thanks!
  5. I'm looking for a smooth 10-15 lb braid for my spinning gear mainly for throwing senkos. I already have some 10 pd invisx as my fc leader ready to go. What do you guys like or recommend? Thanks again.
  6. I have to agree with everyone else here a weightless senko is like magic it works everywhere you go! It's unbelievable after all these years how it still produces!
  7. Ok then I'll stick with invizx and sniper. Those lines suit me well. I would like to try tatsu some time.
  8. I heard a lot of good things about this line is it that good?
  9. Mono for sure I like 14 lb trilene xl.
  10. The tournament pro is my favorite! Nice job on those knob's looks good!
  11. My tackle is all updated with new stuff but I did make it my business to stock up on some original floating rapalas just because they always worked for me. I do plan on adding some devil's horses and manns jelly worms as well.
  12. This is some great info A-Jay I appreciate it! Would you agree that the freedom tackle stealth swim jig would be better for paddle tails and swim baits and the rpe swinging football jig head would be better for creature baits and worms?
  13. Wow those look great! Haven't thought about a rage swimmer good to know and thanks for sharing!
  14. Looking for some creature baits or anything else that comes to mind that has good fluttering action while I'm slow rolling or ripping through the bottom. Maybe you guys have ones that work better than others?Primarily to put on swinging jig heads thanks.
  15. These look awesome! Picture these on a swinging jig head.

I might try the owner oversize worm hook in the 7/0 with a mustad fastach worm weight in 1/4 for some swinging action and see how it goes. I have some 5/0 ewg gammy's that I will try as well. Thanks for all the feedback!
  17. A weightless 5" Senko black blue fleck or a 10 inch power worm in blue fleck. They will bite either one of those guaranteed!
  18. Just wondering what hook would be best for bigger bulkier worms. What would be a better hook up ratio? Would you go ewg or offset round bend thanks.
  19. This is a good spinnerbait by revenge. I have the same one but in gold colorado blades.
  20. Thanks A-Jay I will try this. What size hook?
  21. I was wondering if they make these? I have some 10-12 inch power worms and ol monsters that I want to throw but I would like to work them on the bottom swinging free. Do I just buy the head and hook separate or just stick with a regular texas rig? Thanks for any input.
  22. This but try the berkley maxscent general version ?
  23. Lew's speed stick lite 7'0 medium fast action works for me.
