I just bought a Curado 70 MGL K and am going to pair with an ALX Zolo Twitch (ML 6'8). Should be good enough to throw baits on the lighter side. The reel hasn't arrived yet, so we'll see how it goes when it gets here.

Because there are few things as exciting as watching a Pickerel t-bone your lure, or watching a big mouth suck it down. Like most people, I have a feeling I have caught far more fish on soft plastic worms than any other lure, but we all love the idea of top-water lures working, because we can see the bait and the anticipation therefore is so much greater. So keep buying topwater, it's good for your soul
