Bleeding Gizzard Rogue
Very nice work stringjam. It does have the foiled look. I'm sure your Dad will really appreciate that.

Ultra thin cranks (foiled)
You set the bar very high Marty. Very nice work. Just as I expected. I like the 2'nd and 4'th pics. Is one a silver foil and one a gold foil, or is my eyes deceiving me? Can you do one of them in the bait we been discussing? Good job Marty.

Which bass that got away hurt the most?
The "one that got away" that sticks in my mind the most probaly happened 25 years ago. My brother and my best friend and I were fishing our favorite watershed. Its a trolling motor only small lake, about 200 acreas. We wasn't doing too good, so my brother decides to do some squirrel hunting in the surrounding hills. After a short time, it was like mother nature all of a sudden turn the switch on ! My buddy and I started catching bass one after another, including several 14" keepers, at the same time we could hear my brothers gun going off like Fort Knox . Then, I get a hit on a black/chart. tail worm and he isn't messing around, he hits hard and its off to the races. I lean back and set the hook and it just felt like a good hook set. All of a sudden this nice bass, we est. to be 7-8lb. busted the top of the water, shaking his head , thrashing water, and spit the worm out so fast it come flying back towards us and over the boat. Thats the highest I've seen a real nice bass clear the water. And, in a instant, he was gone . And, then all of a sudden, mother nature turned the switch back off, all of this maybe lasted 30-45 mins, but we had a heck of a mess of keepers and my brother had a mess of squirrels, and I'll never forget "the one that got away". ;)

Southern Indiana Hotspots
Just curious if anybody fishes the southern part of Indiana and where you have had any luck? I've done real well on the following lakes : John Hay lake ( outside Salem) Hoosier National forest lakes ( 4 lakes, off I-64) Delaney Park ( near Salem) Starve Hollow lake ( near Brownstown) ( all of these small lakes are trolling motor only) Has anybody fished these lakes? What are some lakes you fished in the southern part of Indiana?

crank baits, rattles or no rattles?
In the past I allways looked for baits that had rattles, but I fish a clear water lake quite often that gets pressure so Im going to get more w/o rattles and see if I do better. I'm started to look for lipless cranks also w/o rattles to add to my box.

Big M Crankbaits
Nice fish ;D. I got a couple of Martys cranks and I haven't got to use them yet, but they look killer and I'm real pleased with the quality of detail. I only have one problem with Martys baits, trying to figure out which one to order next

Is the Zoom/WEC Square Z the same as the E2 ?
I see a dealer( fishingfevertackle) has wec baits listed on ebay that are differant than any other dealers, one is called the " square Z ", is it the same as the E2, or another wec bait? I also see he list colors that look the same of other dealers, but he calls them other names. Has anybody had any dealings with him? His baits are also a few dollars more expensive than others.
