  2. Sorry, not your turn this year. ring fry, my brother said to tell ya its Big Blues ( Ky.) turn this year, with Walls and their spiffy new coach and all them banners to look at to pump em all up ;D
  3. Nice article George, and a good link from RW also. I've always wanted to get back down and give stick marsh another try. I think I've told George the story before, so I wont go into a lot of detail, but we went down several years back and planned to fish small lakes in that area for a week, we fished stick marsh our first day down some in the evening and planned on coming back out early the next morning. Well, the next morning while at the hotel getting ready, someone stole our truck, boat, and all our fishing gear :'(. So, needless to say, I haven't got back out to try stick marsh again yet, but, I've always wanted to. Nice looking lake, lots of gators if I remenber right. ;D
  4. I've been looking at a new spinning reel, I've got $150 in BPS gift cards, and I'm looking at either the new shimano ci4 or the stradic fi2500. I've ordered a couple new zoom/wec cranks so far,a couple Big M's custom cranks, some Risebacker lipless. And may order a couple Jawjackers and another wec and a couple silent lipless, either megabass silent, jackall or an evergreen buzzer beater silent. Its the best thing about winter...buying lures and restocking ;D
  5. Those are real sweet ! I like the colors. nice job.
  6. zbass, your making it a tough choice, again, they all look good. I think I like the 3'rd pic best this time. Nice paint job.

  13. Both look cool, but it seemed to me the 2'nd. one the tail kicked out wider, wide action I guess, which was real cool. Good job. Its been kinda fun watching your work progress.
  14. I haven't really noticed that much difference between this years and last years. And while I do like browsing thru their catalog, I got a huge Bass pro shop store within a few miles. I just wish it carried more fishing stuff than all the clothes, etc..
  15. A motor oil Tournament worm, ribbed worm with a paddle tail on a small pond. I think a black jitterbug was close behind.
  16. nice work toledo. Your craw pattern is real nice.
  17. Nice work again zbass. I think I like the lipless in the 3'rd pic best. I'm a little farther south than you, it may have got in the low 20's today >

  21. Gammy. I've never tried owner.
  22. Looks cool, nice action Jon. They are going to be sweet when completed.
  23. I've had an stx for a couple years and really like it .I've had no problems at all.
  24. :-/ I've been thinking of buying a new spinning reel to put on a G-Loomis 6'6" med. heavy rod for mostly worms and small cranks. I've looked at the Shimano stradic fi-2500( $160) and the shimano ci-4(200). Any suggestions on these or any others? This may not be the best rod for crankin, just not sure I want to buy a whole new outfit right now.
  25. Very nice work Marty. I think I like the bottom two the best, and then the 4th from the bottom. ;D
