I've got a pretty good selection going of custom made cranks and imported, mostly from Japan. I think more than actually catching fish on them I just enjoy collecting. ;D Something to pass on the the grandkids.

At a few of the small watersheds I fish that have shad, bluegill, I do best on a red/chart. colored cranks that don't even look like either one.

I'm just curious how my Hoosier bass fishing buddies have been doing in your neck of the woods? I haven't got to go as much as I'd like, but its been a very slow year so far in the southern part at my local watersheds. :-/ My best time in recent years has been a few years ago. We fished a lot on rainy days then, and had several days when we caught our limits (and released) of 3-4lb bass. Last year, in early spring I caught one bass 5.3. But, this year, not too much at all yet. How about you guys in other parts of the state, how are you doing this year? Thanks

We hit John Hay lake yesterday for 5 hrs., still kinda slow, we managed only one keeper and 6 smaller ones. The water temp is still 50-52, but should start climbing some this week. The lake looked good, it was up 1-2', and had some color to it from the rain.

Bandit model 200 spring craw, but I think the bass started to " wise-up" and spreaded the word. Or, maybe they taught the other bass not to hit it while they were in " school" ;D

Yea, I wasn't that impressed with any of the horses on Sat., but this coming weekends should be much better, with the Wood and Sanita anita derby. You can view the form on-line at DRF, a single card is like $2.95

and, not with the horses Who is your early pick for the Ky. Derby? It will be interesting to see how next weekends races unfold. eskendereye looks impressive and lookin for lucky, but, I'd like to see what awesome act, interactiff and school yard dreams does in their next race. :-/

Yes, it happened to me, in both eyes, about 7years ago. I had a heart attack and had to be shocked in the er, like 7 times. Both my eyes were blood red from where it busted the blood vessels. And, besides almost biting my tongue completely off, I was quite a site for awhile.

Isn't Dubai where they just opened up the new horse race track? Quite a complex. They just held the richest horse race yesterday, one race was like 10mil purse.
