Went out yesterday and threw the 250 for the first time ever, not a giant but wasn’t expecting a bite on my first trip out. Super stoked!

Fishing sight lol
It’s obvious that it helps to imagine the bait in the water when working it but i find it so cool that just that little bit of extra attention outweighs just mindless casting. Pretty much every cast i picture my bait in the water almost like looking at it through live scope seeing it in real time. Not sure if anyone thinks the same or I’m just crazy lol. Fishing is tough right now and I’m stuck thinking ?

Tuning jerkbaits
I’ve noticed that more than a couple of my “suspending” jerkbaits rise a little too quick for my liking I’m using super glue as of now to glue the smallest strips of lead to the bottom Giving me that true suspend that I want, I’m just curious as to what other ways there might be to Getting my baits to suspend the way I want them to that don’t involve a mess of glue (I’m trying to keep the stock hooks on)

Zipbaits!
I’ve found, in my opinion a small gem. I found these jerkbaits in my local tackle shop in SOCAL and idk what it is about them but they flat out catch fish. I think you can only buy them online from either their Japanese site or a import site, they’re around $20 but worth every penny, not sure if any of y’all have heard or used them before and if so what worked for you Here’s the packaging

When Did It all Come together
Of course when it comes to fishing you will never truly figure it all out but when did it all “click” for you. When did you realize that maybe you did know what you’re doing and started consistently catching fish. For me it all started this year I’ve been bass fishing for maybe 4~5 years out of the 19 I’ve been alive so I don’t have much under my belt. But something about this year has allowed me to look back and realize how far I’ve come.I went from skunking almost every trip to now not only being confident in knowing I will catch fish almost every time I go out. Also being able to put others on fish and their first fish at that. Looking back at this year alone I’ve had my eureka moment and feel like I’ve progressed more in these past 9 months than I have over the last few years

This year I decided to finally throw hardbaits, found this neat jerk bait at my local tackle shop and my confidence has definitely been boosted. I’ve been fishing it for about 2 months I can only post one pic but it’s just seems to attract nicer bites most fish have been around this same size and thicc

Are Big Swimbaits Worth it??
Im sure ill enjoy it lol ive been wanting to get into a for a while and maaaaaaaaan i wish i had 5-10 bass/day these L.A ponds are so tough its painful lol so i'd rather chase the bigger fish in these city ponds. Maybe i just suck lol but good days for me are catching 2-3 half pounders Ive caught some nice fish in these ponds so im willing to give up those 2-3 half pound to a pound fish for that 3-4lber in there

Are Big Swimbaits Worth it??

Is the tatula 300 saltwater ready? I was also looking into that one wanted to use this set up for both salt and fresh water I was looking into the kaimana series of irod but I figured save the 50 bucks and go with the genesis 3 and get either the tranx, tatula, or lexa
