In keeping with the theme here, can anyone tell me how you know its bedtime at neverland ranch?
  2. I dont measure a good day by fish. I measure a good day by education. I try to find something new everytime I am out, which is almost everyday. I just feel fotunate to be able to be on the water alot.
  3. I read somewhere that you can tell a person has had a good life because when they were born they cried while everyone else was smiling, and when they died they were smiling while everyone else cried. I also read he was a fantastic person. His charatable contrbutions were extensive, and he was in fact quick to help others break into the field. RIP Rodney you truely were one of a kind.
  4. For some reason this strikes me as bunk. for one, someone intent to do harm isnt gonna visit in full get up first. seond, only one person saw them, unless i am reading the report wrong possibly a burglary??????
  5. I was just looking over past posts, and saw this. Thought I would post and bring it up and see if anyone had any additions.....glad I did!! To all my comrades thanks for your service! Semper Fi Recon
  6. Yeah the knife thing was a bit much, a cheap .22 would have been much quicker. as for my choice of dying....I wish to die at 80 by the hands of a 19 year olds jealous husband!
  7. The golf course problem is it is ILLEGAL! No tresspass means just that. As far as well I WILL BE BACK the $75 dollar fine is worth it....great example to set for your son. Kudos to you! What a great example of respect, and honoring the law. As for the golf course issue.....they own the property, not you. they own the lake, not you. They own the fish not you. Just being there unauthorized is tresspassing, catching and keeping the fish could be considered theft. I gotta tell ya it amazes me some of these responses, and not in a good way. A word of advise, dont try that on the private lake here, we have a greeting commitee!
  8. My private lake is almost 5 feet low.....the lowest I have ever seen it. There are 3 wildfires burning within 5 miles from my house, smoke coverage and smell is daily! We have gotten just a small bit of rain but we need alot more and are praying for a heavy rainy season!

Nothing at all wrong with feeding those in need. I once was in need, and will never forget the man who helped me.....I hold him in the highest regard to this day....thats the difference. However, I do make sure those in my own house are fed before I feed the neighbors. long mike, gooooooooooooo natives lol
  10. hmmmm.....close enough.....however the catfish has tastebuds in its whiskers which allow it not just to feel about but actually taste what its whiskers touch! But since ultimatly finding food would have been a broad but correct answer, and cuz your a youngin you win!!! LOL

You did not offend me in the slightest my friend. In point of fact that is just how the world sees the US, and that is a shame. I took it as the humor it was intended, and I am certain you were making a joke, and not being malicious. And to be honest, it is pretty d**n funny, I just wish it werent so true, and that wasnt how the world viewed us! Your bud Recon

Ya know I almost missed the joke here. I see the intent for humor, however, I feel it is a miss. Most americans know what the "rest of the world" is the rest of the world are the ones we feed, with our tax dollars. The rest of the world are the ones we feed, by sending troops to insure aid is recieved by the people (somalia) the rest of the world are the ones liberated from German occupation. (france belgium etc etc) the rest of the world are the ones we send aid to after horrid disasters. We seem to have a bad rap in the world, until someone needs aid from us.....south korea, south vietnam, etc etc. But thank god we have "the rest of the world" cuz if we didnt there would be noone to give aid and help too.
  13. Pretty windy today I took the boat out and well....beat the snot out of it. The Quik steel held without problem. guess time will tell how good this stuff really is. On the tank repiar by the way, the fuel knocker, which caused the problem in the first place, is still hammering away on the patch, and it is holding firm also. For the record I have never had any luck with any of the pinch and knead type patches before....this stuff seems pretty good.
  14. Kudos to the owner....oj should be serving, not getting served. Serving time that is (figured I better make that clear for the politically correct).
  15. 24 cans in a case, 24 hours in a day, coincedence? I think not!
  16. ok heres another easy one. what is the primary function of a catfishes wiskers?

  20. I found a 8.5 inch stress crack in my Tracker, and also several leaking rivets. My neighbor is a truck driver, and turned me on to a product called quik steel. He used it to plug a hole bigger than a quarter in one of his fuel tanks. He made that repair 2 months ago, and there isnt any seeping at all. Solid as can be. Anyhow I used some on my boat, and it worked great. Comes in stick form, pinch off a piece and knead it, apply within 2 minutes and solid in 10. can be applied even to wet surfaces. This is the only product I have ever found that actually works, so I thought I would share it with you guys. It is made by CarGO. Recon
  21. I live just outside Orlando. We have seen some smoke here from the GA fires. Then about 10 days ago 3 fires started right here by where I am at. The closest 2 being in Royal Trails, in Eustis, and the one on 46. Some mornings the smoke is overwhelming, but then the wind changes and it seems to clear up. We even had messages on our answering maching to be prepared to evacuate, but thankfully it never came to that. Recon
  22. that is so not cool....sofa king we todd it.
  23. I dont mind bees, nor snakes, I hate spiders! Their sneeky....and they just look horrid! Id rather jump into a tank of sharks wearing pork chop underwear than mess with a spider......seriously!
  24. I use a canon s3 and it works wonders.....even for the photographically challenged!
  25. small(1/8 to 1/4) white road runners with a red head!!! pure magic!!
