What kind of line do you recommend
Well, if braid floats and mono does not, why should I consider using mono for topwater lures like the Rebel Pop-R and Tiny Torpedo? Won't the mono tend to drag them down and impede the action?

What kind of line do you recommend
Is there any great advantage to using the Yo-Zuri Co-Poly Hybrid vs. the mono brands you recommended?

What kind of line do you recommend
I would appreciate suggestions for a brand of mono or poly that is limp and easy to handle. Also I don't understand the difference between mono and copolymer or which I should buy in 8 pound test. Any difference in price would not be a factor. Thanks for your help.

What kind of line do you recommend
I fish for largemouth bass in a small, fairly shallow lake here in Florida. I use spinning gear with 15 lb. Power Pro braid and I fish mostly with small surface lures, mainly Rebel Pop-R’s and Heddon Tiny Torpedos. I think I’ve read here that some folks recommend using mono or some other kind of line instead of braid because braid sinks and may weigh down these surface lures so that they don’t have the best action on top of the water. I’ve been catching fish using braid but I’m wondering if I’d do better using a good brand of mono or some other kind of line. I’m kind of new to Bass fishing and I would appreciate some advice on this.

Best Leader to Lure connection
Thank you very much for helpful advice. I think I'll be tying a loop knot when fishing in daylight and when I don't expect to change lures except maybe once. I often fish at dawn and just before when the light is poor, plus my eyesight is not good, so for those times I'll probably use a clip. I think everyone recommended not tying tight to the lure eye which reduces to lure's action. I thought that was true but it was good to have this substantiated. Thanks again.

Best Leader to Lure connection
I’m wondering what is the best way to tie your leader to a surface lure such as a Spook, Skitterwalk or any other floating minnow-shaped lure where you want the best “walk the dog” action. Is it best to tie a tight knot to the eye of the lure or make a loose connection with a loop at the end of the leader or a split ring or a snap of some kind? Also, how about a subsurface swimming lure? What is the best connection to produce the best lure action? Thank you for any advice on this.

Rebel Pop-R and Heddon Tiny Torpedo
Several people have recommended these lures for Largemouth Bass and Peacock Bass. I just bought one of each and would appreciate some advice on how to fish with them. I fish in a small lake in south Florida. I’m wondering if I should retrieve the lures slowly with some pops and pauses or whether I should make them loud and noisy and move them faster? Thanks very much for any advice.

Rigging Trick Worms
I guess the only straight shank, non offset hooks recommended here for Trick Worms are those that have a gripper or keeper built in like the Owner Twist Lock or Cover Shot hooks or Mustad Grip-Pin Edge hooks.

Rigging Trick Worms
Today I was looking through some older posts where folks were asking about what kind of hooks to use for Texas rigging Zoom Trick Worms. I was surprised to see that there were several recommendations for straight shank hooks instead of the skipgap hooks with the bend up near the eye. I would think that the worm would slide down the shank if there wasn’t a bend near the eye to hold it in place. I would appreciate it if anyone who uses straight shank hooks for Trick Worms or similar baits could explain if there are some tricks they use to keep the worm from sliding down.

Top Water Lures for Bass
I would appreciate any recommendations for top water floating lures to use for catching Largemouth Bass. I live in Florida and have been mostly using Trick Worms and similar soft plastics but would like to try something different. Whopper Ploppers were recommended to me and I have a couple of these, but I would like to learn of other lures that folks recommend. Thanks for any help.

Single Hook Replacements for Whopper Plopper Lure
It may, but I don't care. It is catch and release here anyway.

Single Hook Replacements for Whopper Plopper Lure
I have a couple of 3 inch (#75) Whopper Plopper topwater lures. I have used them a couple of times and have caught bass but the two treble hooks damage the bass and are hard to remove. I would like to replace them with single hooks but don't know what would be the best size, style and manufacturer. I would appreciate any suggestions.
