I catch almost all of my Wacky Senko bass while the bait is motionless on the bottom or maybe after a very slight movement, but hardly ever on the retrieve. I wonder if others have had this same experience?- Best way to retrieve a frog.
Thanks very much for these recommendations. I guess I’ll try different kinds of retrieves, steady, popping, and walking and hope one of these will connect me with a big bass or two.- Best way to retrieve a frog.
I'm new to frog fishing. Based on the many favorable reviews in this forum I have ordered a couple of Booyah Pad Crasher full size frogs, not the Juniors. I'll be fishing from the bank of a pond here in south Florida. I imagine it would be best to fish close to the shoreline, parallel as much as possible, but what is the most effective way to retrieve the frog? Should I do a slow or fast straight retrieve, walk the dog, or what. I would would appreciate recommendations from any of you folks who have success fishing the Pad Crasher or similar frogs.- When do they change from crayfish to crawfish?
As a kid in Massachusetts we called them Crawfish and we sometimes fished in brooks, not cricks or creeks.- Snook Fishing from Shore

I've found that you can fish most places from dawn to about 9AM without much interference from paddleboarders, jetskiers, etc. Most of these folks don't get up early.- Why can't I get the line even on my baitcaster spool?!!
I had this problem for a while. Finally I noticed it was because I had a finger against the line too close to the spool. Problem solved after I kept my finger off the line or placed the finger farther away from the spool.- What Time of Day for your PB
My best was a 6lb. 6 oz. largemouth caught about 3 PM January 8, 2022 on a Wacky Senko.- What are you scared of?
Thanks for posting that video, A-Jay. Very helpful! I'll still try to avoid it. But this is good info just in case.- What are you scared of?
Poison Ivy. I used to get it real bad! I won't o near it now.- Weightless Senko. Tex-rig versus Wacky. logic choosing between them?
I have fished both ways, weightles, a number of times and have always had better luck with the Wacky Rig. I never Texas rig this bait anymore.- Fish Not Biting
Thanks for your help. Cbump and Sphynx recommended creature baits. I have some of these, Rage Bugs, Rage Craws and Zoom Lizards. Maybe I'll give them a try in close to shore.- Fish Not Biting
I live in southeast Florida and fish from the bank of a shallow pond about 3 or 4 times a week at dawn for an hour or two. Usually, the fish are active at that time and I’m able to catch some. Lately there has been heavy rain almost every afternoon. The water level is high, the water is not clear, and I can’t catch a fish no matter what I try—not even with a Senko on the bottom. I’m about to quit fishing for a while until the weather changes. I wonder if anybody has any other suggestions?- The Best Advice

No, I didn't use a sinker on either the Texas rig or the wachy.- Wacky Worm
This morning I fished a 5" Senko Texas rigged and didn't get a bite. After a while I switched to rigging the worm Wacky style and immediately there was some action and I caught several bass on the Wacky rig. I have had this same thing happen before.- Post Your Favorite Dog-Walking Lures
Rebel Jumpin' Minnow.- Everglades Fishing
Several folks have posted photos of big bass and peacocks they’ve caught in the Everglades. I’m in Naples, Florida and would like to get in on some of that fine action. I’m wondering if anybody can tell me where to go for bank fishing in the glades that isn’t too far south of Naples?- Unknown Jerkbait?
Maybe a Bagley Bangolure. Look at the Tackle Warehouse web site. It looks just like the Rebel Trackdown Minnow. This comes with a split ring, two hooks and a plastic bill.- Unknown Jerkbait?
It might be one of the Rebel baits. - Rate the song above you
