How well does the rod balance with the reel compared to the comura?

I fish the Mississippi River in S.E. MN. poll 5A and 6. The reason I ask is that I have always fished the front of the wing dams but last Wed.in our club tourney I took big fish with a 4.29# small mouth fishing the back side than Saturday I picked up a 4.54# smally in a 31 boat tourney to take big fish. Thinking maybe been working the wrong side all these years.

For you guys that fish the rivers do you mainly fish the front side of wing dams or the back? The front side would be the side with the current flowing into them.

Can anyone tell me how to bleed air out of the trim and tilt unit on a 75 hp yamaha motor.Took the boat out of storage today and the motor will trim but will not tilt the rest of the way. I filled the resavoir with fluid, now i believe i need to bleed the system but don't know how. Thank,s in advance.

I have a older model motorguide 24 volt trolling motor with the toggle switch on the foot pedal to switch from 12 volts or 24 volts. What i would like to do is rewire the switch so i could have the option to switch from 24 volts to constant run.Hoping someone can tell me if this can be done and how to do it. Thank you, Bill

Any one fish the upper Missippi river system have a patern for cathing smallies this time of year,I was doing good in July along riprap and wingdams using cranks and tubes but for the last mounth they seem to have vanished.With duck hunters in the backwaters we like to stay on the channel so they can have there fun.The water temp last weekend was 64 deg.

Yes - Best result were around sixty precent on. Also had it spooled with ultra-soft and respooled with 20# pp w/out any better resuts.

Purchased a Revo SX-HS last spring and have tryed it on three differint rods over the summer and i can not cast it with out having a backlash. If i tighten the spool tension knob up so it doesn't backlash i can only cast around 15 yards and the handle turns harder then it should.I know how to use my thumb to cast as i have used baitcasters for over ten years.With all the praise for these reels just wondreing if anyone else has had any problems?

Thank's for the answers . With my Procraft 175 with the 125 merc at WOT it will top out at 55-58. I have a 24 pitch Laser II and it runs around 5500 rpm;s. No GPS.

I don't have a manual and was wondering what the proper RPM is for a 125HP Merc at idle in neutral ? Also bought a volt meter that came w/out insructions and was hoping someone would know how to connect wires to it. One post has a [ I ] one has [ B ] and then the ground post. Any help Guys ? There will be a fuse somwhere under the cover,chek to make shure that it is ok.
