  1. This is what I was really hoping Sweet
  2. Sadly broke my Alphas Sv Tw yesterday, that I ordered from Digitaka. Being that it’s JDM reel, I’m guessing Daiwa USA probably can’t help me? All that it is broken teeth on the drag star, and the spool brake cover and 2 washers. I feel like I could probably fix this myself if I can get the parts. I even found the parts I need on a Daiwa Australia schematic. Anyway I’ve never had to fix a broken reel so I’m just wondering what’s my best way of getting this reel fixed, I love this thing and it’s also my top water reel! Thanks Parts #64, 63, 62 and 102 are all I need
  3. What do you think about the it for squarebills?
  4. Thanks I’ll take a look into the champ 704cb. Think I’ll probably just call Dobyns tomorrow and ask a bunch of questions
  5. So my Sierra 733 snapped today I threw 3/8 squarebills, jerkbaits and top waters with this rod. I’m obviously gonna use the Dobyns warranty but I think I’m gonna do the upgrade program and go to the champ. Wondering if I should just get another 733 or go to a cranbait model since that’s all I use with it, any input here guys
  6. First time I nailed my first fish on the jig
  7. So I’ve been wanting a higher end jig rod for some time now, coming from a Dobyns Sierra 734. I use mostly 3/8 jigs some 1/2, and mostly for casting/skipping docks, lay downs, etc. I’ve been wanting a 7’2 MH expride for a while but it’s always backordered, we’ll today I go into my tackle shop and they have an old 6’8 MH. I’m just worried about the length since I’m used to rods over 7 foot. Any experience with this rod, fishing from kayak as well
  8. Thank you sir this is exactly the answer I was looking for, think I’ll wait and get the Sv70
  9. Ever tried the Tatula 70 Sv TW? I like daiwa a bit more think I might go with this over the curado
  10. Thank you guys def going with the 70 mgl I’m glad I asked.
  11. So I have a Dobyns 702 that I have a slx 150 on, does the job okay, but thinking of getting the bfs because I can put the slx on my new frog Rod anyway. Just slightly concerned with how little line it holds because I would definetly be using 8lb test. Mainly throw shakey heads, weightless flukes, underspins some drop shots on it. Should I go with this reel or is there one that may work a little better?
