Good Day everyone, any one here on the east coast know any where I can sign up for kayak or boat tournaments in new jersey or new york ? i was looking into maybe making a page on Instagram or Facebook to host some my self with close friends and have it open to the public but thought it just be easier to sign up and avoid the headaches of hosting myself lol. i have a perception pescador pro 10.0 and a 12 ft semi v jon boat. gas and electric motor if that matters. just looking for some fun competition and to make myself a better angler. Thanks

Heck if you are looking for a fun type get together tournament. I’ll come over. I’m Penna. I don’t kayak, but I’ll need a ramp to put in. Even if it’s trolling motor electric only. I’ll should be fine. No running of my outboard. 

if we can get a good group of people together and do a 25-50 dollar buy in per boat, ill do it! most bass caught in a day wins it. but if we get more people we can host something. 

North Jersey angler here, hopefully this thread picks up wind I would definetly participate in a small get together tournament. Perception outlaw 11.5 here with a electric motor

how do you like that outlaw? thats a cool looking kayak, I want to sell my pescador and that outlaw caught my eye, but im going with the old town sporstman 120 pdl. and yes hopefully we can get something together. i have at least 2 other boats beside my self (friends) that would participate. im not sure of what body of water to fish yet but ill travel anywhere

Go to Ny fishing derbies and tournaments. They have a listing of places and dates. ?

Most tournaments around the tri-state area are run by bass clubs. Hudson Valley Kayak Bass Fishing is a kayak club that fishes tournaments around here. If you look around you should be able to find some boat bass clubs too.

 

There are kayak tournaments in central and western NY every weekend. I'm a member of Kayak Anglers and there's an Eastern PA chapter that should be pretty close to you. I'm sure there are others too.
