haha the first time i took out my new boat a couple weeks ago i was planning all my fishing strategies when i got to the lake i only ended up fishing for one hour played with the boat rest of the time gettin the feel for her good luck and have fun

there are so many choices out there i wish you the best in whatever you decide to do

also ask for a list if any about all maintenance done on the boat last time impellar was changed plugs etc check hull for damage check lights on trailer check bilge and livewell pumps to see if they turn on check for clean wiring all these things can be fixed but it will give you a baseline about how the previous owner treated and handled the boat

also remember sometimes the fish are off the bank positioned at the nearest drop or break in current or water temp so i try to stay around 25ft off bank unless im pitching and flipping

you can either afford it or you cant afford it dont burn yourself out overthinking if you can afford it you only live once so i try to live a little

bass are a definite catch and release for me

i go for numbers size is an added bonus if it happens

my new boat and my last one had foot controls and i loved themm when i was a kid i had a hand control on my jonboat and that was what was suited for that boat but now its 2006 GET A FOOTCONTROL OR REMOTE CONTROLED

thats the exact boat i have a 185 sport nitro fish and ski mines a 2005 and has a cover great job on the boat keep it clean all the time one day it could be yours

was that fishfinder mounted on that diamond plate just wondering cause if it is are you not gonna use a bow mounted trolling motor?

with the program that ben mentioned they hook up to your motor

i also do not have one on my boat i wanted it to keep up on maintanence but i just keep a little log for that the newer motors have the hours recorded into them any tech can tell you exactly how many hours you have

non fishing item in my boat my buddy he couldnt catch a fish with a net if the fishandgame shocked the lake for him he usually casts for about twenty minutes then gives up and sits there watching a bobber and nightcrawler ;D

you can try some emorycloth ans sand down a little spot where it gets stuck at and then pull it off

spinnerbaits and topwater propbaits if theres a little wave action going on isnt wind the biggest pain in the butt

i love the silence especially when the stinking waterskiers are out
