I mean maybe a little bit, I have a 734 Heavy and haven't really noticed it much, but I also haven't used it much yet. I cant speak for the ark rods but I'm sure they are good too. hope this helps!!

A fury 703 or 733 would be suitable for what you are wanting it for

So its black Friday and I'm gonna purchase a Dobyns fury 703c rod(which are on sale for 103.99 at TW for anyone interested). I am gonna get a reel to go with the rod but not sure on which one. Any suggestions are welcome, 100 to 150$ thanks for your time!

Hi there, new member here, I was wondering what i should use this baitcasting combo for. I have a dobyns fury 7ft 3in heavy action, paired with a shimano curado dc reel in the 8:5:1 gear ratio. I really love this combo and its such a joy to fish with but cant decide what to use it for. If you have any other questions let me know and I will try and answer them.
