Great fish guys, nice pb unh! Haven't been out freshwater fishing in a little over 3 weeks now, hopefully that will change this week. Went to Old Orchard Beach this past weekend with my buddy who has a condo up there. We went out on his sail boat Sunday morning to try to get some fishing in but there was no wind, so we didn't get much fishing in. Even though we didn't get to fish really, it was a PERFECT weekend at the beach up there.

I do agree with bmadd, I really do think Stallworth was sincere in his apology and I truly do think he feels awful about it, unlike Vick. Stallworth was only suspended for this 2009-2010 season last I heard, I would much rather have him be playing this season than Vick, I have absolutely no respect for Michael Vick. Stallworth at least manned up to what he did, he stopped right away at the accident and was the one who called 911 and willingly took the breathalizer and didn't try to place blame.

Forgot about Stallworth, used to love him when he was on the Patriots but after what he did, he should not be allowed back to the league either. DUI manslaughter, yet he only served 24 days.

Couldn't agree more. Vick should not have been given a second chance. Found this from awhile back where the Redskins player, Clinton Porter, defended Vick by saying "It was his dogs. If that's what he wants to do, do it. What people do behind closed doors." "You want to hunt down Michael Vick over fighting some dogs. Kimbo is a legit street fighter, but he has got a lot to prove as far as his MMA skills go. I don't know who else is on the show for this season so it's hard to say how I think he'll do, but I think if the other heavyweights try to stand up with him they're gonna have a real bad day. Either way I'm stoked for this Ultimate Fighter Season to start

Is it rude when someone tells the truth ? No I was fine with his first comment, I just took his second comment "BL, if you have the patience, read it for me and then tell me what he was trying to say. ;D" as rude because he already said he wouldn't read it because of the grammar so I felt there was no need for him to say anything else about it.

I don't believe you do for saltwater, I got this quote off the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, "Saltwater angling licenses are not required for recreational saltwater angling" That was the first sentence in the third paragraph under saltwater fishing information. Silva vs Griffin was basically a highlight reel for Silva. Just completely dominated Griffin, I was really upset with the Hendricks and Sadollah fight, Sadollah was getting back up on his feet when Miragliotta stopped the fight. It wasn't right for the crowd to boo Hendricks it wasn't his fault but I agree with everyone else it was definately a bad call on Miragliotta to stop it that quick. And Penn and Florian, I really thought Florian could have done better than that but he just couldn't do anything to Penn, it was definately a great fight for Penn.

Yes I realize that. I really wasn't trying to start anything by not proofreading my post first, but I really wasn't concerned with how my grammar and punctuation were because I still had the adrenaline pumping from the situation I was talking about in the post. Thanks yeah it really does put you in your place I realize it could have been alot worse, considering my dad was on the side that woulda hit first. And sorry Long Mike I must have missed the part in the guidelines where every post has to have perfect punctuation and grammar.

I was heading to the shooting range with my dad today and I was driving in my Jeep wrangler, we get into the place which is pretty off in the woods all on a dirt road with swamps/pond on the side, as we get in we unlocked the gate, drove up, then I went to pull off to the side to get out and close the gate and I pulled off a little bit then the sand sunk out from the tires on the right and after that there was nothing I could do we started sliding down an embankment on the right side and stopped just before we rolled. Realizing it wouldn't be a good idea to try anything without checking out the situation first we both climb out the drivers door slowly (I stepped on the running boards on the drivers side while my dad climbed out the drivers so it wouldn't roll) as we get out we realize if we try to go anywhere we're just gonna run the risk of rolling (The front drivers side tire was off the ground) So we call a tow truck and as we're waiting we walk down a little into the swamp that we would have rolled in and realized just how lucky we got the front passenger side tire was on a rock which is what stopped us from going sideways down the embankment into the swamp, if we tried to go forward or backward at all once the tire got off the rock it woulda rolled for sure. Tow truck cost a $100 but it was a $100 well spent instead of a much bigger bill if we tried to get out ourselves. Although we did get some shooting time in while waiting for the tow truck ;D ;D ;D Sorry for the long post but felt like I had to share, hope everyone elses day went better than mine

Great job unh and nashuafisherman, sounds like a heck of a day. I got out for about an hour then it started getting really dark and because I have the soft top on my jeep now i can't stay out in the rain because the only way I can transport my boat is with the top down or it will tear the top, so that kinda limits my fishing when it starts getting dark and rains on its way, I ended up going to Melendy pond again and managed a few decent ones, no pics today discovered the camera batteries were dead when I got out there.

Nice fish nashuafisherman! Topwater is my favorite way to get em, although I'm not having nearly enough luck with it as I was at this time last year, working nights now I miss out on the topwater bite alot as I find it tough to get up that early in the morning, but I am going to start to try to give it another try.

Yea it's off of Route 13 on Old Milford Road, you may not have gone far enough down 13 if you didn't see old milford rd, if you're coming from milford the road will be on your left.

Thanks unh, there was quite a bit of weeds in some areas of the pond and it gets kinda shallow in some areas, but towards the back end of it if youre standing at the launch facing straight out all the way to the other side of the pond there's a bunch of docks back there which is where I was getting quite a few hits and I got that big hit.

Got out to melendy pond in brookline for about an hour and a half managed to land one bass and lost what felt like a freight train at the other end of the line at the end of the night, good thing it's a small pond, I will definately be back there the next chance I get. Heres the fish I landed

Sweet truck

Went out to sunset lake in greenfield again tonite for a couple hours got a decent sized perch and a largemouth which got stuck in the ropes around the beach area when I was bringing in so it took a little to get em in.

Got out to sunset lake with my dad today which was good because I haven't fished with him in about a year. Fishing started off slow until I got my first smallmouth of the year which was small but I can't complain, shortly after that the fishing picked up FAST! Lost track of how many fish we got but it is safe to say we each did very well numbers wise, nothing big today but it was a lot of fun to fish with my dad again. Everything else we caught after I got that smallie was all largemouths. Here's a few random pics from today:
