  1. Nice job bud, that skull is sweet!
  2. I started training for MMA fighting but I've had to stop until this semester's over because of my school schedule I have more night classes this semester and between that and work at the most I'd be able to train one night a week so I'm putting it off til May when I can go everynight. As far as BJ and GSP it'll be good but i think im going with St. Pierre on this one, either way it'll be fun to watch
  3. Last year I went camping at a State Park with some friends and one of the days we were fishing the lake there in my jon boat and we ended up having someluck in a small and I mean SMALL cove part of the lake and we all started catching fish. We were facing the shore in the boat and some kayaker apparently couldn't have gone behind us where the whole lake was, apparently he needed to go 10' in front of us where we were all facing, that guy really ticked me off. ?Other than that like MD posted people will try to swim out to where you're fishing
  4. I know how ya feel back in December I lost power for a week and a half roads were terrible trees and powerlines were down all over the place. Good to hear you're all okay
  5. Well due to poor planning on my part i got my wisdom teeth out today so im hoping i'll be able to eat real foods again for sunday if so then its subs, chips & dip, shrimp, and wings of course, although realistically i might be stuck just eating pudding hahaha
  6. A lake i fish alot in the summer has freshwater jellyfish also, there always right on the surface of the water tho
  7. Wish it was this simple in real life ;D
  8. According to fish and game's website Skatutakee Lake in harrisville,nh has northen pike, http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Fishing/bathy_maps/skatutakee_harrisville.pdf i tried it last year with a buddy of mine but we didn't have any luck as far as pike lots of smallie's tho. I don't remember there being much room to launch a boat there tho, we went out in my 10' jon and there's a little Skatutakee across the street which is connected to the big lake, we tried the small part first then went under a very tight bright to get to the actual Skatutakee. I plan on giving it a few more tries this year for some pike
  9. Welcome aboard
  10. Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki all day long, american cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and a ton of sweet onion sauce = delicious.
  11. I actually just got a thing in the mail from them monday and I mailed it out yesterday it was $12 for the year plus i get a free tackle bag, I am new to them by the way. So maybe it does depend on where you live?
  12. Forgot to mention looking at boats i obviously can't afford
  13. Winter time for me means way more time at the gym and more time for MMA training which of course means black eyes every few weeks haha. That and a lot of rearranging tackle and occasional BPS orders when theres extra money. Luckily between the gym, training, and work theres not much time to think about how im not fishing
  14. New Hampshires state LM record (10.8 lbs) was caught in May 1967 so just shy of 42 years old!
  15. Caught a pretty big snapping turtle a few years ago, and while fishing with some friends a few years ago i got snagged on something big and we went up the bridge to see if we could see what i was stuck on then we noticed i was hung up on a mongoose bicycle haha, guess i'll have to switch to heavier line next time i go there lol

  21. Saw it for $2.29 a gallon yesterday in bedford, new hampshire cheapest i've seen it around here but its still going down
  22. Went out with my friend last night but we couldn't get a bite, although i was glad i got out because i only used my baitcaster so i got a little more practice in with that before the years over with no birds nests also ...Unfortunately i think i am going to call it a year and take the rods and tackle out of the car for good this year. Had a great year of fishing this year and am hoping to top it next year -Dave
  23. Hey guys im gonna be fishing later today when my friend gets outta work around 5 or 6 haven't been out in weeks thought that was my last time out but i gotta get out again, not expecting too catch much if anything tonite just want to get some more casts in before the years over. So for those of you still getting em now whats working for you??? Thanks, Dave
  24. Used to use the hard tackle boxes until I realized how much more room the soft tackle bags have, now I use Bass Pro Shops® Extreme® 370 Qualifier Tackle Bag http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_37727_100011010_100000000_100011000_100-11-10 It has enough room for what I have now love all the side compartments, the only thing i don't like is the shoulder strap doesn't stay on so it does get kinda heavy when you have a good distance to walk to get to the water. I think i got it for like $35, definately worth it I'd say
