  1. good afternoon, just got back from rogers lake with the little triton and WOW ;D, this boat really impressed me for the first time out.... .... one of the reasons for the aluminum boat was to get one i could handle by myself(single, no kids), well i unloaded and loaded by myself seemed to be a fairly steep ramp....the 50 merc (2 st) was a little cold to start and the dealer rep. said this would happen till i burn out the first 12 gal. mixed with oil...this is recommended by merc.... once she fired up, it was "here we go!!!!" at no other time did it fail to start right up! windy with about a 1 ft. chop and had no problems getting on plane fairly quickly, held its own going with the wind, cross, and head winds...didn't check the speed(still playing with this garmin THING... ) est. 35 mph the minn kota EDGE (40 lbs) work very well and really moved this machine around...will have play with it a little more... no rattles, no snapping, no popping, and no heavy water slapping in the wind...(welded hull)...the front swivel seat is high enough to keep a good eye on things... you can see the boat on tritons site (1650sc in mossy oak which is like a spray in bed liner) a little long, however, some people might be interest in an aluminum hull and this might help a bit... will keep you posted..... bluebonnet2
