  1. I live in Pennsylvania and want to take my boat up to the thousand Islands. Does anyone know where and what time of year. Also what is the name of a public boat launch?
  2. What other features are we talking that you find is a must-have? And would I have to get another head unit to utilize the transducer since my fish finder already has a transducer?
  3. I mean at this point all I'm really looking for is spot lock I mean do I care about routes. Not really unless there's something else that I'm missing
  4. What about motor guides xi5???
  5. I bought a 35ah mighty max battery (Amazon) it has worked extremely well for me it's going 5 years strong never let me down I bought a 35ah mighty max battery (Amazon) it has worked extremely well for me it's going 5 years strong never let me down I bought a 35ah battery off Amazon or eBay I can't remember what one but I used that with a endura Maxx 55 lb thrust and it's been going strong 5 years. As far as charging I didn't use a onboard charger I bought a battery tender it was like 40 bucks maybe 50. That setup has been great for me so far even if the battery would quit tomorrow it was well worth it. It would last me 6 hours with moderate use it never died on me. I never pushed it all the way to the limit.. the longest I fished was probably 8 hours and it still got me back to the dock
  6. I'm looking for a GPS trolling motor for my 2024 bass Tracker classic XL. I have a Garmin fish finder looking for something that's compatible if any. I know about the Garmin force and maybe one day but right now I just can't afford 3600 bucks. So I wanted to know what are my other options if any.
  7. It seems I need to consider hummingbird in this situation. I kind of counted them out but from what you guys are telling me it seems I should count lowrance out
  8. When you said go low I thought you mentioned go lowrance. I was so confused
  9. So I bought a boat and I'm looking to upgrade the fish finder. It has a lowrance basic 2D sonar fish finder on it. I'm looking to spend about 1,500 bucks. I'm not familiar with any of the operating systems. I've only used very basic fish finders as of right now. I have my eye onhttps://www.basspro.com/shop/en/lowrance-hds-pro-9-fish-finder-chartplotter?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions&ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=BPS|Shopping|PMax|Boating|General|NAud|NVol|NMT&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw3NyxBhBmEiwAyofDYd39q457N-qwBgcQUBiVQeoNXEvVmBDHqXP0J6R1S8WJzyUT0hUSIxoCwwUQAvD_BwE orrrrr https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/garmin-echomap-uhd2-93sv-9-fish-finder-chartplotter-with-gt56uhd-tm-transducer-and-garmin-navionics-us-inland-mapping?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions&ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=BPS|Shopping|PMax|Boating|General|NAud|NVol|NMT&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw3NyxBhBmEiwAyofDYZdsl98SZA0zWlOCdfrKw4-Ebsgk9bgJ5fmdMSHrjbmZlfwNU3uv0RoCfxIQAvD_BwE. Or if you guys have something else to recommend for that $1,500 ish price point, I'd appreciate it I just have a basic Minn kota edge on for a trolling motor. Probably will upgrade one day
  10. I'm in wayne county
  11. From a boat and I just have a reg 2d sonar
  12. I'm in the Northeast and I am struggling. I cannot catch a largemouth bass in my body of water that I know there are bastion. I've caught hundreds there. I don't know if I'm just not fishing in the right spot. If I'm not fishing deep enough or if I'm not throwing the right lure many factors I can use any kind of health. Current water temperature is 47.5° in the last couple days have been very windy which has been making it even more miserable and I'm starting to get discouraged. Any kind of health would be great
