yesterday me and my friend had a really great day fishing. I had to be home early that day so we only fished for about 45 minutes at my friends pond/lake. but we caught about 8, 15 inchers, and then it happened, my friend, Andrew, hooked onto a huge fish. when we pulled it out it weighed 6.5 punds and measured 23 inches. this was our first really succesfull day with senkos, as all the fish we caught were on blk/chartruse tail senko's. i don't believe how easy they are to fish with, now i don't know if i'll need anything else on my pole again .
  2. my neighbors have a pond just like that. but it is big enough to have bigger bass in it. I decided that the bass just didn't have the genes to get big. because i put them in my pond as well as an experiment with bluegill and they got up to only about 14 inches tops.
  3. what exactly is a "mean mouth"?

My ponds the same way. we have way to many weeds and not enough open water. so i switched to plastics a while ago, and now even at other people's ponds and lakes i still use predoninatley plastics. i just feel confident with them. By the way congrats on a great day.
  5. Wow that took some dedication to go out and swim for it. sorry that it had to die, i always feel bad when that kinda stuff happens too.
