  4. i use nothing but a 60 degree flat eye in 1/8 ,1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 and the 1/8, and 1/4 sometimes with rattles. and only use one brand of tubes widowmaker tubes.

  6. jazzy the riley memorial has averged about 60 boats the last 4 years and i can tell you all about i have helped run it for the last 24 years and this year was the 27th year and it is always th same weekend...and not sure who lund explorer is by puter name but he is dead on on the lakes. it is quest sanctioned every year thru basscat. and between cash and donations we gave out almost 9000.00 worth of stuff this year
  7. flip think you missed something it says mid state weorginated out of ionia county and we fish mainly west and north of lansing not anywhere near oakland county....
  8. matter of fact jazzy if you wat to check thi club out we will be on wixom this weekend for our classic saturday and sunday weigh in at 3.30
  9. jazzy there are alot of clubs in michigan... mid state bass busters is always avaliable they usually fish...cadillac mitchell, martiny flooding,mecosta,chippewa,coldwater,muskegon, freemont, jordan lake, and hardy, but a few of these could change for next year, and there classic is on usually sanford and wixom
  10. gman the 9 mile area is hot and a lot of the fish are coming on a widowmaker tube in a road kil copper and on smallie slayer

  12. there are 2 things that i use for drop shoting most the time...#1 iuse a 4" widowmaker tube and I also use a hand poured gossimer minnow by hawg pours.....
  13. i drop shot tubes all the time but i dont like small tubes i drop shot a 4 inch tube...
  14. here is another idea and we do this a lot in deep water carolina rig the tube....and go as heavy as you want we usually go 3/4 or 1/2
