Holiday Tipping
I never thought of tipping the UPS guy, but then again I never see him/her. When eating out I tip by the level of service. I always tip at least 15-20%. If the service is great I'll usually give a 25-30% tip and sometimes up to 50%. As law enforcement (military) we aren't allowed to receive tips, but a simple thank you goes a long long way. It gets tiring getting treated like crap from the same people you are trying to protect. Nobody likes policemen until they need one. Happy Holidays Kimbrough

Just received my brand new Daiwa Zillion I won off of ebay. It arrived and is flawless. Got a great deal at $155. Just wanted to share my latest acquisition.

Never seen this before...
I once met a couple of friends that had been fishing all day with no luck. I pulled up, casted my senko and first cast caught a nice LM with a crawdad about six inches still in his mouth. Off topic but I lost a rattle trap once to a tree. About a week later a friend and I were fishing the same spot and he pulled in his rattle trap hooked to the one I lost. He offered to return it but I declined. The fishing gods must have wanted him to have it more than me. He tied it on and caught a nice LM a cast or two later.

NEED LEGAL INFO!
I'm not going to get into my beliefs but they parallel most that have already been posted. If your man has already been fined then he shouldn't be able to be fined again for the same thing, it's called double jeopardy in the legal system. Now if they are looking at charging him with something else than he could be up a creek without a paddle.

Crankbait Question
What's everyone's opinion on the BPS crankbait lineup, mainly the pro series? They look like high quality cranks with great finishes. They also seem to have a good offering for all depths of the water column. Thanks for your input. Joe

Your Worst Fishing Injury
When I was about 16 my mother dropped me and some friends off for a couple of hours of evening fishing at a farm pond. About 20 seconds after she left I caught the first bass. While removing the hook the fish decided to go ape s*** and the hook ended up through the bottom of my finger and came out under the finger nail, but that's not the bad part. I had to sit for 2 hours and watch my buddies fish until my mom came back to pick us up (the days before cell phones). She took me to my dad's work and he said he wasn't letting me go to the er, that he could get it out. After 2 hours of jerking on it with pliers he decided a trip to the er was much needed. Talk about a sore finger.

Thanks Ryan and Is1Jay. The St Croix appears to be a perfect contendor for the G Loomis senko rod.

First Post...Shimano Crucial, G Loomis or St Croix
Hello...I have been fishing for a few years and recently decided to trash the old ugly stiks/cheap reels and upgrade my gear. I have already purchased a Daiwa Fuego and Daiwa Zillion (6:3 to 1) that I fish on BPS Extreme 7' M/MH rods. I am getting ready to purchase the Daiwa Sol and have made my mind up on the G Loomis BCR893 Senko Rod as this set up will be used for primarly senko fishing. Is there a Crucial or St Croix that is comparative to the Loomis senko rod? I want to replace the Extreme rods with either a Crucial, G Loomis or St Croix and was looking for suggestions as to which is a better value/rod. I know G Loomis is considered the benchmark and many consider St Croix to be just as good but will I regret my choice if I choose the Crucials? I'm just trying to put together some quality combos without breaking the bank. Any help you gentlemen can provide would be greatly appreciated. Tight Lines.
