Thanks again They recommended to stay with Primewash than go to the primocon. I'll have to set up a saturday to sand and paint, I understand the Oxidize issue on alluminum. Working towardst tho, prep will be the Key 8-) Been using dura fix rods on some holes and a few cracks, the stuff works but, you do need to weld horizontal, vertical drips away.(I've been flippen that boat every way I can.) Thanks again

Hey L.B.H. talked to jamestown today and they recommned using the "roll and tip method" on applying the brightside, was wondering if you did this? :-? you roll on the paint and use the tip of a brush to smooth out. Your boat looks good, I didn't see any brush marks(of course pictures), I think you said you only brushed it on, well any feed back is appreciated ;D

Oh-man not the "taking out the seat again." I've been wantin to do this but, I've chicken out. I was just about over it too. Wouldn't that be super cool to do , I'm just not confident in it. (don't want any problems with it) heck I'm still strugglin to put some paint on.

Man what a morning, went to a boat place to buy First step of painting my project jon, I'm not familiar with exactly what I was getting, But well here is an example of what happen ME-"Hey buddy need some ecthing primer made by Interlux you carry" Him-"I've got 4 primers you can get" Me-"alright, I need the ecthing one" Him-"blank look" Me-"eye brow lift look back and waiting" Him-"I've got 4 primers you can buy" Me-"ecthing primer which one is it" Him-"I don't know let me get the manager" Man, that was a temper tester, even the acting manager couldn't help, I drove 30 miles, and the professionals couldn't help me, bad part too was they would have to order it and I was told on the phone friday it was on shelf. L.B.H hope you don't mind but, I e-mailed you to see if I could get the exact info from ya and order it. Time to cool off now.

Question-removing bench seats from jon
How do ya do sorry Catt after re-reading my post I can see confusen from my excitement. what I meant was -what container goes into a live well in the seats? I can't think of something that slides into the seat to create a live well? Isn't the seat an odd shape, therefore no after market kit? I have limited expeince on live wells(and I may have gave me more credit than I deserve on it) :

Sorry everyone
I believe I should have posted here first and properly introduced myself, I'm one of those that have been looking around recently for a bass fish site. saved this one in my favorites when I seen Low-Budget-Hookers boat project(i think it said post 2005?) starten one myself-and kinda alreay been posting about it. : Kept coming back and reading the forums, sounds like many of ya are buddies. Well here goes, My names actually Tony, fishin Buds short for Fishing Buddies that me and my son dreamed up when we dreamed about having a little Bass store next to Barkely Lake. I gotta darlin wife that spoils me-a son thats 9(my buddy), a 7yr daughter that will put me in a early grave, and two dogs that I named after my two bosses-jeff and jack which after a long day it feels good to holler at them when needed. ;D I love to laugh=sometimes that gets me in trouble. Sorry everyone didn't mean to jump forum and lead you to think I was going to try and get some tips and then leave. So anyone close by Southern Indiana? or am I that alone?

Question-removing bench seats from jon
Thanks for the tips there Catt 8-) Man this thing was beat up. Still stripping the boat, found a (I would call) spider crack on the hull, under the handle, you can see where the trailer wheel has been banging against it, I will need to update how the trailer holds the boat So far my son has been hangen in there with me, has been some elbow grease. Hey after seeing the seats more closer do you still recommend just taking out the front bench? :-? not both? Thinken about something else painting the inside of the boat up to and over(whatcha call) the rails with bedliner. 1. durability 2. extra sealing (I'm told) still plan to wall the side with a thickness wood with carpet up to the rail, cause I know I'd suffer from the sun with all that black showing but, this is a expense increase. I first thought of just the floor and then apply a flooring on top of it but, besides money why not up the side and over the rail? any thoughts? :-? rdneckhntr love the leg room. works for me ;D

Question-removing bench seats from jon

PACA Craw question
Green pumpkin, Chartreuse pepper, and Junebug are my favorite ;D Caught my first small mouth on the green pumpkin. I was Carolina riggin-Aug last year at Barkely right by those white pole that stick out that say "fish" He hit it, gottem to the boat and he jumped out that water I bet 4 foot(he was at chest level when I was standing) happen so fast I forgot to net him. in he went and BOOM! up he came again, netted that time, the wild thing was as I grabbed him the only thing hooked was the string around his gill Wild memory
