  1. thanks again FishinDaddy, this is real cool of you.
  2. they're kinda for showin' and kinda for wearin'. they will be worn a lot, to school and out and about, but not in the woods, i have hiking boots for that. i read briefly about saddle soap and saw snoseal in a google search results list. i'll check em both out and i'll run to the store to get some kiwi polish to keep em shiny hmmm i just did a google search of saddle soap and all the link i read on the first page recommend not to use it... they say it only forces dirt into the leather and its alkalinity is damaging to the leather.
  3. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :

  7. i got some nice leather boots. they're nice and black. i'd like to keep them this way for as long as i can. i don't really know anything about treating leather to keep it durable and waterproof. after brief reading, i've found you can rub mink oil in to keep it supple and water resistant? anybody have any tips?
  8. 55 gallon tank. i have 2 pumpkinseeds, 1 bluegill, and 1 redbreast sunfish. all of them are photoed above.
  9. here's my take on sure set hooks... will i buy a lure because it has sure set hooks? no will i buy a lure because i REALLY gotta have this color and its only available in sure set? sure why not i have not noticed ANY disadvantage to using sure set hooks, and similarly i haven't noticed much of an improvement. what i do with my baits that have two sure set hooks is i take the front one off and swap it with a regular treble (from the tail end of another bait). this way i only have sure sets on the back, as i see no need for them in both spots. i feel like sure sets in the back might help me hook a short striking fish.
  10. some i took tonight: bluegill: pumpkinseeds: redbreast sunfish:
  11. odd you say that, i just took a whole new set of pics of my fish tonight because i realized i didn't have any recent ones. maybe i'll post them and try to get my rep back ;D
