well i cleaned the tank today and added the driftwood. my fish really seem to like the driftwood and spend a lot of time in/around/under it, and their colors are really popping because they feel more secure now. decided to take a few new pics. here are some of the pumpkinseeds: and here are a few interesting shots of my bluegill: two standard profile shots for good measure : and one of my crayfish, who for the past 2 months or so has been inside my old ceramic log, along with my other crayfish who is currently MIA:

oh yeah, i also plan on ditching the pale bright gravel and getting some really dark brown gravel. it should help to color my fish up more!

to make the hardware that holds the hooks (hook hangers) and line ties and such, i use 19 gauge stainless steel wire that i bend into shape.

so what kind of deal did you get on it?

i've had this driftwood submerged in pond for over a month and a half, and i went to retrieve it today and the wretched still floats! so i wedged it down with a dowel rod to keep it underwater. once everything settles down in the tank and i get some plants it should look pretty good!

Is this some kind of secret language, or are you just high? ;D ROLF, is an online/texting abbreviation for "rolling on the floor laughing". It is sometimes used in conjunction to with the word "copter" to mean something extremely funny. PM means private message, and URL is a Uniform Resource Locator. The best translation I can come up is is this: "There, haha this is so funny! Private Message me if you can't see them [my signature], and I'll send you a link to the picture. " or... "i fail."

yeah i like my kershaw ken onion chive a lot. its a good knife but i wish i got the scallion because the chive is a little too small.

i've got a Gerber Resolve multi tool that i like a lot, and i do carry this a lot when i'm in a situation when i'll need more than a knife.

i'm really liking the gerber air ranger. i like how slim and plain it is, and i really like the handle. amazon has them for 41 bucks, so i won't have to pay the list price of $77

oh yeah i have a black craftsman one that i carry a lot too for doing work kinda stuff where i don't want to mess up any nice knives.

i have the same one (silver). i like it a lot. its one of my regular duty carry knives. i also carry the gerber evo jr. a lot too. the evo jr. is probably my favorite carry knife. its the right size and i like the half serrated blade. i would carry my boker AK74, which is my favorite knife i own, but its a switchblade and that would be illegal.
